I spoke to Natasha on reception who as always was very helpful answering my multitude of queries. I was then met by the vet Mr Charles Higham who took both dogs inside to carry out what needed to be done. This is the first time I have met Mr Higham. I am writing this to convey my appreciation of the service I received from both staff members today.

It was once again a pleasure to use your services with what seems to be another absolutely amazing member of staff. All the vets, nurses and receptionists at Fields Vets have given both our dogs twenty years of expertise, care, love and compassion.

We are here to help you look after your pet in sickness and in health. Our main focus is preventative care - helping you to keep your pet as healthy as possible. We will, of course, be here to look after your pet when they are unwell, by utilising our skills and technological advances to quickly diagnose and treat your much loved pet.
Neutering (we participate in the Dogs Trust and Cats Protection League Neutering Schemes). During opening hours (except in cases of genuine emergency) all consultations are by appointment only. Please ring the surgery to make an appointment with one of our vets or nurses or book an appointment online.
Our pricing structure is dependant on the treatment required by your pet. We are able to give estimates for treatment/operations required and our vets will be happy to discuss this with you. Modern veterinary care can be very complex, but in most cases a range of treatment options can be discussed on an individual basis.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
When performing a bitch spay using this method, three very small wounds are created through the skin and muscle into the abdominal cavity, allowing the insertion of a camera and specialist instruments. The surgery is performed inside the body while viewing the internal organs on a screen. This method gives maximum precision and minimal invasion and trauma.

I was slightly confused by how to enter the practice given the covid-19 cases but when I finally read the sign and phoned the reception as instructed they let me know they had already checked me in.
The vet was incredible with Daisy, she was a bit unsure to begin with but then warmed very quickly. He did all the checks I needed him to, including an eye test to confirm her eyes were all ok. He really put my mind at ease with his knowledge and also how great he was with Daisy.
He answered all of my questions and reassured me that I was doing a great job looking after my little pup. Could not be

Lulu and Truley love visiting Fields vets after having bad experiences at another leading veterinary practice. We have found that Fields vets are run far more professionaly & are by far much cleaner, more friendly and welcoming. In the 2 1/2 years we have been with them they have shown outstanding knowledge and best practice helping one of our dogs out of a near death experience. Couldn't recommend Fields vets enough. Outstanding !
