Neil Woods Hypnotherapy
The actual experience of hypnosis is very difficult to describe. There is little difference between hypnosis and daydreaming, or becoming involved in a good book or television programme. It is an altered state of awareness which every one experiences naturally - it's that lovely feeling that one experiences just before going to sleep at night, or as you come out of sleep in the morning.

Generally you will be aware of what is going on around you and of what the therapist is saying to you, you will remember a lot of what has happened in your session, and throughout, you are always in control. If at any stage you feel you want to end the session you can do so by just opening your eyes.
Services
Hypnotherapy is a natural stress buster. Neil can remove any inner stresses and build a resistence from collecting any new stresses. Eliminate a fear or phobia, such as lifts, flying, crowds, spiders, bees and other insects or animals, disease etc. Dispel the fear of driving tests or taking exams. Learn to react differently and cope with your fears in a new, positive calm way.
The word DIET suggests something you do short term. You diet against what you normally like to eat which goes against what your subconscious mind likes to do. You may lose weight, but it is usually only temporary.

It is a natural human response to want what we should not have, so as soon as you stop dieting, your old eating habits and beliefs return again and your body goes back to what it was doing before the diet, often leaving you bigger than you were before you actually started the diet.Diets don't work!
If you are a smoker who wants to quit, then you can kick the habit with just ONE SESSION of Hypnotherapy. Neil utilizes a unique mix of Psychological, NLP and Hypnosis techniques to ensure his clients stop smoking and NEVER restart. In just 20 days of non-smoking you will have paid for your treatment, and from then on its cash in your pocket!.
What is the difference between a FEAR and a PHOBIA? We all suffer from fears and that is because a fear is a natural reaction when faced with possible real danger. For example the fear of heights when walking dangerously close to a cliff edge. A fear is your survival instinct to keep you out of harm's way.
If you are reading this, you probably have a good understanding of what Depression is and how it affects us and those around us. Depression affects not just our mind, but our bodies too. The quality of your thoughts influences the quality of your life. Depression is a common psychological disorder - anyone can get depressed.

I was addicted to cannabis for 8 years and saw no bright future for me. Then I was recommended to neil and hes done what I thought was impossible.
Within three sessions with niel I'm sober, happy and can see a light at the end of my tunnel. I will be forever grateful to this man he's truly a god sent.
I have no words for how grateful I am to have received Neil's help.

I remember the day I got “diagnosed” with hayfever strangely well. I was in the early years of full time education and had to go home due to a fever, the GP said I had hay fever and “you’ll grow out of it”. 30 something years later I still struggled year in year out taking prescription tablets, nasal sprays and eye drops all at the same time to… keep my symptoms at bay. Having tried everything else, including acupuncture I called Neil who said he would be able to help me. To my amazement I have had no symptoms of this awful allergy. It’s very strange being

I went to Neil on a recommendation as I have struggled with PTSD, anxiety, anger & OCD for around 15/16 years. I have tried everything, counselling, therapy, mindfulness, books etc and nothing ever came close to the changes since I had my hypnotherapy sessions. I’ve had 4 now and I feel so positive and relaxed which is very new to me! My partner,… children & friends are all seeing the difference in me & they can all relax around me again. I’m no longer an anxious wreck, or insecure, I feel confident in myself and I can finally breathe again. Neil is fantastic, so

My Son (10 at the time) suffered a trauma which led him to experience Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome.
It was an horrendous experience in which he missed huge amounts of school and fun times with his friends and family.
The pain and suffering was unbearable for much of it, for both of us.
We turned to Neil, after ruling out all physical issues, and he helped give my Son his life back. He gave me my Son back.
After only one session with Neil, and a few weeks later, my Son stopped feeling the stomach cramps, the nausea stopped, the vomiting stopped.
He could live a normal life again.
Finding a great

Had one consultation and one treatment for a life long fear of thunderstorms. A big part of my fear was anticipation- even just the threat of heavy rain was enough to get me in a total state of fear. Checked weather websites constantly. Now not bothered. PLEASE, if you, or your children, appear phobic, then give Neil a try. I have tried various therapies in the past but Neil is the best.

I went to see Neil before christmas because I was at a point in my life where i was totally fed up with being overweight and feeling fat. I had tried lots of diets over the years and some worked but I always seem to put it on.
I called Neil and I will admit i was sceptical at first. Neil told me what hypnosis is and what to expect and he put my sceptical mind at rest. After just the first session I just started to notice small changes in by what I was doing. I seemed to be full quicker and was leaving food on my plate. This was certainly not me. A week later I returned for another session and

I went to see Neil about 2 years ago for an embarrassing fear of moths. I used to be scared of going out on many evenings and would often make excuses to stay at home.
I only needed 1 session and I was cured. Never looked back. Thanks again, Paul
