Our family has just stayed in Wheat and Barley for a week. They were both very clean and well equipped. The owner, Jose was very friendly and helpful. The kids loved all the animals and doing the treasure hunt. The farm is in a lovely location with views all around. We would definitely recommend this farm to friends and will certainly be going back. Best holiday we’ve all had together on the Isle of Wight.

We stayed at Barley cottage, the first thing to say was that it was spotlessly clean even down to the kettle and oven so a big thank you to the cleaning staff.
The cottage was well equipped and the bedrooms were large with plenty of space for clothing and comfortable beds not saggy or tired and worn out. Each cottage had its own private garden area which was nice. We took our dog and were pleased there were no silly rules except not to get on the furniture or beds which is perfectly sensible and correct. We didn’t see the owners during our stay but when there were some minor issues they were

It’s been 3 years since we visited in Mar 2019 and we still lovingly reminisce about our stay in Nettlecombe Farm.
As you can imagine, it was cold and windy in March but we loved every bit of our stay. The cottage (wren) was clean and homey, play area, Wendy house and scenery, village were all amazing but our star of the stay were the lovely animals + farmer Lucy and farmer Michael. We can’t wait to go back there with our new addition - thank you all for making our holiday amazing.

Fantastic setup with young children or if you're a hiker. Theres a small zoo worth of animals, with feeding tours. Due to Covid the number of feeding sessions is limited but the toddler absolutely loved it.
Facilities are fine albeit a little limited, we didn't have WiFi, the clothes washing facilities are in a central building and the decor could use a little refresh. All that is completely overcome by the beautiful surroundings, experience with the animals, local walking, lovely welcome from the staff and family. We're planning on returning.
