We are able to detect conditions such as glaucoma up to 9 years earlier than would be possible with a conventional eye examination. H & H Eyecare is a new independent, family owned, eyecare practice run and owned by Susan and Khal who first met in 2004. Between them they have over 35 years of experience working for multiple and independent opticians all over the North West. They are passionate about providing the highest level of eyecare and their dream has been to create the perfect eyecare practice using the most advanced technology available.
Looking through all the available choices for eye glasses can sometimes be a little overwhelming. My experience was enhanced by the expert care that was taken for my final choice. Face shape, colouring and lifestyle were all a part of the discussion. I purchased the first pair of spectacles that had been recommended.

Optomap digital retinal imaging is a unique technology that captures more than 80% of your retina in one panoramic image, while traditional imaging methods produce a retinal photograph which typically only shows 15% of your central retina at any one time. Using this technology, we are able to detect and monitor many eye conditions at a much earlier stage, often detecting conditions that may have been missed at previous examinations.
OCT is a 3D ultrasound scan of your retina, in particular your optic nerve and your macula. Conventional methods of eye examination available used in most opticians, including retinal photography, only able the optometrist to see what is happening on the surface of your retina, when a lot of conditions of the eye start at a much deeper level.

Brilliant optician that provides an incredibly thorough service. I was hugely impressed with the information provided about my eyes and immediately felt like I was in capable hands. I moved to H&H after leaving my Optician in London. I have worn glasses most of my life and with only one good eye, I take care of my eyesight. H&H have all the up-to-date technology, so I was happy that the latest methods would ensure a good eye test and any resulting changes
Choice of lenses manufacturers is good, frame selection is good. I have struggled to get some lense types to work with my brain having used a single lense type for many many years. This time, no such luck, but Sara stepped in straight away, came up with another option and fixed the issue. Great, no quibble service.

Great optician,great staff such attention to details, made me feel very comfortable and had confidence in everyone who I saw. Must say Scott is very patient there choice of frames was unbelievably good, and he never pushed any of the frames.He was very understanding and an asset to the Company. I certainly will be going back.

I have been with H&H Eyecare since they opened their shop.
The service I have received and the thoroughness of the eye tests are excellent
BUT BEST OF ALL......
are the selection of frames to pick from, I have several pairs of sunglasses,
varifocals and everything in between. My current favourites are the Dita glasses in the picture below
I would suggest you go there for the attention to detail and the friendly staff who always go the extra mile to help
I have moved away from the area but will still be using H&H Eyecare as my opticians
