Clean and tidy. Reception at another hotel a couple of doors down. Found it noisy but I don't live in London so expected it to be. No milk in fridge but luckily work colleagues had one spare. Didn't use shower but bathroom was fair. Could do with a bit of decorating in places . But it was fine for the money and quite central . So easy to catch tube, bus etc

The first impression was really bad. They wanted to charge me £10 extra for helping me carry my suitcases up the stairs because there is no lift. I negotiated it down to £5. The cleaning ladies were very nice which made up for the first impression and the elderly gentleman was also very nice. My stay was okay. I really liked how the ladies would knock on your door until you answer. It's good because God forbid if something is wrong with you they will find you.

Small room, furniture was falling apart, breakfast in a kitchen where people without uniform ask you what you want for breakfast (very few options) and are not understanding you fully if you have intolerances/alergies (e.g. lactose) they don’t know where it is contained and give you scrambled eggs with milk...after you repeated 4 times you can’t eat them..

Dishonest and irresponsible hotel, avoid!!!
I booked a room in Sapphire Hotel through Hotels.com for 3 nights and paid in advance. On the way to the hotel on the check-in day, I received an email from Hotels.com asking my check-in experience. I thought it was strange, I was still on the way how could I check in? My train got delayed and I finally arrived the hotel around 11pm, I was told by the hotel manager that they had been trying to call me all day but I didn’t answer the calls, he said they had key cutting issue and they didn’t have a room for me. I told this manager I didn’t receive
