Vintage Marquees is a unique Wiltshire based company specialising in the hire of traditional canvas marquees of all sizes. Our marquees date from 1950 until now. Our most popular hire items are our unique old plank top tables and vintage wooden chairs.
As well as offering the standard extras such as fairy lights and dance floors, our ever-expanding range of 'shabby chic' and vintage accessories includes lanterns, fire pits, traditional garden games and drinks bars.All our marquees are made from traditional cotton canvas with natural wooden poles and hemp ropes.

Services
We deliver and erect our marquees all over the country, and have many regular clients such as Gleneagles hotel in Scotland! Below are a few of our favourite venues, there are more listed on our 'we recommend' page on our furniture web site. Aisha shares the gardens of her stunning home. This beautiful venue includes a guest lodge with hot tub! Parish's House belongs to NGS and the gardens are just lovely with various options to site your marquee.
This marquee was made for Vintage Marquees and is one of our most popular wedding marquees, seating up to 220 at round tables with a dance floor, stage and bar, or 360 at trestle tables with a dance floor, stage and bar. This marquee was made for Vintage Marquees and is also one of our most popular wedding marquees.
Our Big Top is another fairly new marquee made from poly cotton canvas, with natural wooden side poles, white central poles, and natural sisal ropes. The Big Top has four windows. This marquee is 20' wide and can be erected at 30', 40' or 50' long. Purchased in 2020 from Classic Canvas Tents, Chester is a 20' wide traditional canvas marquee.
Reckless and whimsical, adventurous and avant-garde, Petal the pink party tent is a one off! Commissioned exclusively for Vintage Marquees, her debut was at Wilderness festival. Carousel is (dare I say it) a PVC marquee with solid sides. A very popular one for festival or party use, and the only marquee we will hire out in the winter.
With a strong base of local contacts, we can cover the (few) extras that Vintage Marquees don't supply. We can organise toilet and generator hire, crockery and table linen, just ask! We travel far and wide but try to keep within 50 miles of our base in Melksham for logistical reasons, but never say never!

We used Vintage Marquees to hire a large amount of vintage tables , chairs and benches at short notice for our wedding in June 2018 after we had been let down by another local company at shirt notice.
