Archers Marquees is a marquee and equipment hire business based just south of Bath, run by husband and wife team, Giles and Erica Hill. First established in 1998 by ex-England Rugby player Garath Archer and his wife, Archers Marquees has built up a reputation for providing quality events with minimal fuss.
Clearspan marquees are contemporary structures made up of an aluminium frame with a white PVC cover. They are versatile and practical but still stylish. Clear roofs look particularly good over the drinks reception/ bar area of a marquee. They let a lot of light in during the day and later on they offer a spectacular view of the night sky.
The flooring of a marquee isn't it's most striking and decorative element but it is crucial from a practical point of view. Furniture must sit well on it and it must be safe and as easy as possible to walk and dance on. We have three types of flooring - membrane, event floor and wooden floor. All three types of flooring require covering with carpet of which we have a wide range of colour options.
Lining is the material that can be hung on the inside of a marquee. All of the styles and sizes of marquees we stock can be lined if desired. Lining creates a luxurious and elegant feel and is particularly popular for weddings. It can sometimes make a marquee feel warmer although it doesn't actually have any practical qualities.
These are positioned along the apex of the marquee and illuminate your marquee, whilst providing a feature in the ceiling also. Uplighters sit on the floor around the edge of a marquee and project light up the walls. You can choose to have them in warm white, or a particular colour, or revolving through a variety of colours.

Absolutely brilliant company. We hired these guys for our wedding celebration. Received clear, concise and effective communications from Erica and her team at all times. They also sorted the toilet block and power generator. Simple, hassle free and competitively priced. Highly recommended them and will use them again in the future.

Archer's Marquees recently provided our marquee for our wedding, although in the past they have also done marquees for a number of family 18th or 21st birthdays and my parents wedding anniversary, and we have always been impressed.
The team built the most beautiful marquee for our wedding day and were entirely flexible and accommodating of my demands. We enjoyed the banter from the team in the week prior to the wedding which eased any pre-wedding nerves, the range of products they were able to offer to fit our wedding theme was fantastic and we couldn't have been more pleased with the overall

We have a pub in the Mendips - King's Head - and regularly use Archer's Marquees for our outside functions.
They get five stars for a few simple reasons - diverse product range, competitive pricing, a large team which means marquees go up on time and quickly and they come down on time and quickly.
We've had a situation where we've required extra during a function and they sent someone out at no extra charge. So post-sales service too.
Can't recommend them enough.

We used Archers Marquees for our wedding in August 2015 and it was fantastic. We dealt with both Anthony and Sarah and both listened to us and provided what we asked for, nothing was to much trouble and the price was very competitive. We had the perfect day and this wouldn't have been possible with out the help from Archers MArquees.

We hired Archers Marquees for our wedding in August and we were so pleased with the service they provided! From the beginning Anthony walked us through everything we needed to know and was more than accommodating with all of our requests (or which there were many!)
The team that came to put the marquee up were brilliant. They talked us through everything and sorted out any minor snags that occurred very quickly.
The day prior to the wedding there was a problem with the power, but Archers were round straight away to rewire and the problem was solved.
