Growing Concerns
The Garden Centre is going through a few changes - hope to be fully stocked soon, we are ready for click & collect. Growing Concerns is a secret hidden between Victoria & Queen Elizabeth Parks next to the Hertford Union Canal. We started life as a local resident gardening club keen to improve the green environment and since securing our site at 2 Wick Lane the garden centre has grown from strength to strength.

We are working hard to get open again for customer browsing - waiting for remote card readers so we can serve you outside, the shop is just too small with no room for a queue anywhere! We are keen to improve the biodiversity of estates and the green environment.
Services
Canal River Trust has supported us through out, our site is on their land - the original Mitford Wharf. Without them we would not have become what we are today. Clarion Futures is our parent company, and with their support we have been able to create a firm footing. Now our surplus goes back into community investment projects in Bow.

All I needed for my Yul Crowne a 10 minute walk away and the very little I was charged went straight in the charity pot. Impressed.

Growing Concerns is a fantastic garden centre space in East London on the edge of Victoria Park. They have a very wide selection of indoor and outdoor plants, herbs and all the accessories you need. My lavender, aloe vera, spider and rubber plants are all still going strong in Bow.

Went here with my other half a couple of times to get ideas about herbs and flowers for our garden in the balcony. The selections they had were plentiful and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Finally, weeks after the rain, we decided to return here and pick plants. We bought a smorgasbord of trailing flowers, herb plants and tomatoes. Its great! They even accomated us to do out planting there since we have no place to plant at home. They even provided us with tools to do the planting.

As for their location, it is conveniently located just around the corner from Victoria Park and next to

I was so excited to drop by this local spot today. I'm aiming to get my garden up and running this year.
There is a lot to choose from at Growing Concerns, including a decent herb collection and plenty of wall growing options for most of the locals who I am sure don't have acres of garden space.

Let down a little by the staff who seemed a little like the hibernating plants and devoid of much excitement or indeed information. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as I intend to head back there for more supplies over the coming months.

Its got a cute little set-up right on the
