Adlams Solicitors
Adlams Solicitors are a firm of lawyers based in St. Neots and Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, specialising in a range of legal services including Family Law, Residential Conveyancing and Wills & Probate. Choosing a solicitor is a difficult decision which often has to be made when you are under stress and you need sound advice quickly. When you select Adlams LLP, perhaps as a result of a recommendation like most of our clients, we want you to be confident that you have made the best choice.

We will work hard to achieve the outcome you want by taking time to understand your needs and providing practical, clear advice; taking the initiative to protect your interests and complete the legal process on the best terms for you; reacting quickly to your requests; always being professional, confidential and sensitive to your particular needs and providing a value for money service.
Services
Family problems can be complex and traumatic, with unexpected consequences that can extend far beyond separation and divorce. Deciding when to involve a solicitor is a crucial decision. When you do, we will make sure your rights are protected and those of your children, and that you are aware of your own and your partner's responsibilities.
We will guide you through the complexity of buying and selling your home. Early advice and careful planning will reduce the likelihood of problems arising during the legal process and help to make the transaction run smoothly and, we hope, in a stress free way! Our conveyancing service is comprehensive and competitively priced and all the work is handled by experienced people and supervised by a solicitor.
If you have not made your Will, we strongly advise that you do so in order that your assets pass in accordance with your wishes. It is a common misconception that a spouse/civil partner will inherit all assets even if there is no Will. If you are not married or in a civil partnership, then your partner will not inherit at all unless provision is made for them in a Will.
If you need help or assistance in dealing with a partner, former partner, spouse, former spouse or other close family member there are fundamentally two main types of injunctions available under Part IV of the Family Law Act 1996: A non-molestation order, and an occupation order. If an injunction is necessary, urgent action is usually required to protect an individual or prevent any risk of harm to a person.
In our child care department we have an experienced team which is dedicated to representing parents who are involved with the Local Authority and Children's Services in PLO meetings and care proceedings when there is concern that children are being abused or neglected. Our team will always support you with sensitivity and in a professional way.

Not professional at all. We have asked for Independent Legal Advice and heard back that they won't be able to help without giving us any reason.

I didn’t know there was two sites, as I called a huntingdon number I would not think there was another site, so they should’ve stated which site to attend as I went to wrong one. Then once there I found the solicitor quite rude. Was cash only and said to me “well go to the bank”. So quite a rude encounter

Unfortunately would not recommend them. I experienced very unprofessional, unreliable service and the solicitor I was dealing with was very rude. Had to use another local firm and the experience could not be more different
