The Croft Cottage
A peaceful and picturesque break awaits you and your loved ones in the village of Sible Hedingham, North Essex. This 600 year old cottage was built before Henry VIII was even born! It makes a relaxing holiday home with log burning fire, exposed oak beams throughout and an enclosed garden should you wish to bring your beloved pet.

Thank you for a lovely 2 weeks in your beautiful cottage. A total getaway in quaint surroundings, pretty cottage garden and all the home from home comforts.
All the local info was spot on, great walking maps in the surrounding countryside.
Highly recommended - thanks again, Jane

Fantastic cottage with all you need for a relaxing break. Delightful village in an ideal location to get around the local countryside. Will visit again in the winter so I can light up that beautiful fire. Handy garden space to chill out and ample space for anybody with dogs.

Stayed in November. Lovely cosy cottage and very well equipped. Felt very homely with fantastic wood burner as a centre to the sitting room.
Kitchen was well equipped and a welcome pack provided. Very dog friendly and a neat back garden with summerhouse.
Bed was massive and plenty of space for clothes. Bedrooms are interconnective so need to know your quests well as only one set of safe stairs to use. The other is very steep and uneven.
Bathroom is large and the shower is powerful.
Had a great stay. Used the pub next four for Sunday lunch which was good and got a takeaway from the Indian in

Stayed here for a week in the middle of January 2019. The cottage is beautiful and utterly enchanting. With all the modern conveniences we expect from a holiday cottage, but with an original olde worlde ambience.
Having a very friendly pub (the only pub now left in Sible Hedingham) next door adds to the enjoyment. If you are 6' tall like me beware the low beams..!!
