The Scarborough Fair Collection Within Flower Of May Holiday
Throughout the year we host some special events and take our travelling show around the country! See where we are this year. The Scarborough Fair Collection hosts a magnificent working collection of Vintage Cars, Steam Engines, Vintage Fairground Rides and Mechanical Organs topped off with a 'Mighty' Wurlitzer Organ in our spacious ballroom.

We are set in the scenic grounds of the Flower of May Holiday Park, on the coast road between Scarborough and Filey. Bump on the bumper cars, re-live a by gone era on the gallopers or take your breath away on the speedway - there is a ride for everyone at The Scarborough Fair Collection.
Services
There is no need to book to visit the attraction. We are asking all visitors to kindly wear a mask to help protect our staff and fellow visitors. It's a personal choice, but one we hope you will help us with. You may also be asked to wear a mask when dancing to the Wurlitzer.

Our collection is wide ranging, take a look around at the stunning mechanical organs dating back to the 1800's, the powerful and towering Showman's Steam Engines and a collection of vintage cars, tractors, motorbikes and more classic vehicles. You can also see some vintage fairground rides which will take you back to years gone by.
The Scarborough Fair Collection and Vintage Transport Museum is perfect for your coach trip. Packed full of exhibits from years gone by, the option to take part in the tea dance and even ride some of the old fairground rides, it's more than just a museum.

It's a well-known song, but did you know it is also the name of one of the largest, private collections of vintage steam engines, fairground rides, cars, tractors, motorbikes and more in the whole of Europe? We'd love you to bring your valued customers to visit us at the Scarborough Fair Collection and Vintage Transport Museum in Scarborough.
As well as our Dancing to the Wurlitzer afternoons which take place every Wednesday and Thursday (1-4pm) and regular organists, we are also delighted to host other events throughout the year, detailed below. Dancing to the Wurlitzer on Wednesday's will consist of a majority of sequence and some ballroom, while Thursday will be a majority of ballroom and a little bit of sequence.
Running every Wednesday and Thursday while we are open, you can dance the afternoon away to the melodic tones of the Wurlitzer organ expertly played by our resident organist Michael Carr. Both days will feature a wide range of well known tunes from various decades, all played on the Mighty Wurlitzer.
We are delighted you are considering the Scarborough Fair Collection & Vintage Transport Museum for your forthcoming function/event and we will endeavour to fulfill all your requirements on the day.

Graham Atkinson has built up one of the largest and finest collections of working steam Showman's Engines, Vintage Cars, Miniature Vehicles, Fairground rides and Mechanical Organ's in the UK and we believe the Scarborough Fair Collection & Vintage Transport Museum will provide a unique setting for your, birthday, anniversary, concert or corporate event.

This was our first visit and we were not disappointed, fantastic range of antique cars , lorrys etc.also the chance to see antique fair ground rides which are all working and only a ÂŁ1 per ride brought back great memories. If you like a dance then you can go to the tea dance where you waltz the day away.

What a super place this is, a chance to relieve some precious moments of the past. There's a large range of vintage vehicles which includes cars motorcycles and various commercial vehicles. However the best for me was the vintage fair rides which all are in working order and yes you can have a ride for just a ÂŁ1 There's also a large collection of traveling organs and there amazing to see in action. If that's not enough to whet you're appetite well there's a lovely cafe and oh yes the staff are all marvelous. What a lovely day out I had and I will be returning

Reasonably priced and lots to see. Lots of cars motor bikes and traction engines. The rides looked fun although we didnt try them. Be aware the steam organs that play are very loud.

Had a great day here with my husband and 3 year old. There's something here for all ages, my daughter particularly loved the miniatures display, fun house mirrors and rides. We really enjoyed going on the rides and the staff were very helpful when I asked if they could start up the Austin car ride for my daughter. Makes a great day out and it's the perfect place to visit on a rainy day.

Despite website saying masks were a personal choice they request visitors to wear, it was insisted upon at entrance. same lady who insisted was then wearing mask on her chin at exit, with visitors and staff… close to her. fire alarm went off and it seemed they had never evacuated before, bottle neck situation leaving, no head count, very disorganised. thankfully it was a false alarm. all in all situations were very badly handled. i could go on...

Absolutely loved this place, vintage fairground rides and various transport through the ages. Various other displays featuring fair ground organs and vintage displays. Café staff were fantastic as they didn't expect such high numbers today and even the rides were being operated longer than advertised. On the day of our visit there was 3 gluten free cake options too.

What a fantastic museum, far exceeded my expectations. Museum was clean and beautifully presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful and obviously enjoyed showing off their exhibits. Museum has vintage fairground rides (which work!) show organs, traction engines, vintage cars and commercial vehicles and more. You must visit if in the area and allow a minimum 2 hours, but easily to spend longer. Thanks.

Proper great little step back in time. Make sure you take some change for the vintage rides. Great collection of vintage rides, games and vehicles. If you go on the right day they have events in the awesome ballroom there. Fantastic cake and if you fancy something stronger, I spied a bar. Great little hidden gem this one.
