We are open six days a week and pride ourselves on providing our own out-of-hours service to our clients, so that your animal will always be seen by one of our vets at our surgery.
We also offer free parking for clients at the practice. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

Here at Bennett-Williams Vets, we're very proud to have so many enthusiastic and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and patient care assistants to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your animals.
If you have an emergency during the night or at the weekend, please call our emergency number on 07989 115462. Your phone call will be answered by our vet on call. If the vet is busy with another emergency he/she will call you back as soon as they are able.
Please remember to either leave a voicemail with your name and telephone number with a short explanation of your concern or send a text with the same details to 07989 115462 if you are unable to get through.For Small Animal emergencies the vet will have a short discussion with you via telephone as to how best to proceed but usually you will meet the vet at our surgery in Gaerwen.

Selina qualified in 2009 and has mostly worked in first opinion practices. She recently finished working as an out of hours nurse. She enjoyed working with emergencies and nursing critical care patients but is looking forward to first opinion nursing again and the variety that it has to offer. Selina gained a Blue Cross certificate in Pet Loss for supporting clients who are struggling with losing their pet.
Amy has worked in the veterinary field since she was 18. She began her career in veterinary nursing, gaining experience in all areas of a vet practice and has been our practice manager since 2010. She passionately believes in our mission to provide the highest quality of patient care in a compassionate environment, delivering exceptional client service.

Absolutely amazing service as always at this practise, I called and had an emergency out of hours appointment in 20 minutes. The vet acted very fast and kept me at ease. Massive thank you to Emily and the other vets. Highly recommend and will continue to use this practise. Sadly I lost my boy, but Emily made him as comfortable as possible and even shed a few tears. A real animal lover. So glad I had the best team caring for him.

I would like to say thank you to Bennett Williams of Gaerwen for their care & kindness in looking after our 13 year old dogs Poppy & Sylvie & particularly John Evans who has nursed Sylvie throughout this last year & given her a great quality of life. I would also like to thank Emily who assisted at the end when Sylvie's time had run out. We are so grateful to you & very glad that poppy will continue in your care.

Our much loved dog had to be pts following a shocking, emergency admission recently. Everything was fully explained to me by the vet (sorry didn't catch your name) and the care shown was exceptional. All staff were very kind. Heartfelt thanks to Nikki who showed utmost compassion and stayed with me to the end.

We are new to Bennett Williams, we moved vets as the 24 hour emergency service appealed to us.
We appreciated the fact that it was hard for a new vet to take on an elderly dog with ongoing health issues.
Emily did a fabulous job in the short time she had dealing with Zola, and tried everything possible to help with her issues, but unfortunately a short time later Zola's time had come.
I have to say that they made a very upsetting time as caring as anyone could, they gave us time with her to say our goodbye's and were extremely caring considering they don't really know us. The massive thing for

Today one of the children I childmind braught a teddy jess in like aunty Julie's real jess so both could have pin. The friendliness and same fun humour of taking teddy jess in too without even asking them was so lovely and little mans face was priceless.
