Cibyn Vet Clinic
Our highly qualified vets and nurses uphold high nursing standards for hospitalized cases, and across the board. We take an ongoing approach to professional development and all members of staff regularly attend training courses. All of our staff share a common goal of working to ensure as long, healthy and active a life for your pet as possible.
Services
Cibyn Veterinary Clinic have highly qualified, trained staff and advanced facilities. We provide preventative healthcare and advice for healthy pets, including nutrition, training, flea and worm treatment, vaccination and neutering. Alongside this, we have sophisticated diagnostic medical and surgical facilities to give your pet the best possible care if they become unwell.
All cats and dogs due to be admitted for surgery (or investigations) should be given nothing to eat at all from 9.00pm the evening before, while water should be left available until the morning. On admission, you will be asked to sign a consent form (the signee should be at least 18 years' old). We will examine your animal at this time and can discuss any questions that have arisen.
With our team of qualified nurses, we offer a friendly service where you can come and talk to us about any worries. We will also offer advice about the simplest of things; from applying flea treatment to adolescent puppy advice. We offer flea checks for those that are unsure if their pet has any. This also gives you the opportunity for us to apply the treatments.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
Cibyn Veterinary Clinic is a modern, well-equipped and caring small animal practice based in Caernarfon, North Wales. Two operating theatres, each with an extensive range of surgical instruments and equipment. We use a range of anaesthetic agents, enabling us to choose the most appropriate for your animal.

I cannot fault the actual vets attitude or treatment although I suspect there is a tendency to over prescribe for reasons of profit making.
I think, however, that someone made a mistake and booked the reception staff on a customer control course when they were asked to put them on a customer care course.
I suspect there to have been a recent take over in mamagement as we are all used to rising prices but the rate of increase here is now in the realms of exponential. The latest swingeing round of price increases has left the cost of caring for you animals eye-watering and they also insist on payment

We had to visit when our dog was hurt while we were on holiday. The practice could not have been more helpful. They saw us straight away and treated our dog. Lovely, helpful staff at a friendly and well equipped practice.

Very good support and treatment for my aging chronically ill dog. Have helped to manage her conditions and extend her life by ensuring she still enjoys it. Everyone at the practice from the first phone call with the receptionist to the consultation with the vet friendly and helpful

Really good. Sorry I can't remember the vets name but she was lovely. Or though my dog will never cured. It's the first time we have a management plan, that seams to be working. Big thank you

Great surgery. Kind and friendly staff, very good interaction with my puppy - she loves going here! Such a positive experience whether over the phone or face-to-face. Nothing is too much trouble. The extra bonus is the attached grooming parlour, as we were able to do a grooming session followed by a veterinary consultation. My puppy even got a little bow tie given to her for Christmas. Many thanks!

I joined this vetinary practise at the beginning of October when I got my puppy and have so far been very impressed. The reason I went to this vets initially was because the price for my puppy's jabs were reasonable, and because the clinic was prepared to make me an appointment to suit me - which just so happened to be the following evening. Other vets in the area were asking me to wait a few days and to accept a morning appoinment. At the first visit the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, and seemed to have a good knowledge on dogs of all types - mine is a Beagle which she recognised
