Argent Estates
Following UK Government guidance, our offices are only open to staff who, as part of their role, need to perform essential day-to-day activities. The remaining members of our team are working remotely continuing to support our delivery projects, tenants, retailers and customers. The office is closed to all third parties.
Services
Since 1981, Argent has delivered some of the best mixed-use developments in the UK: major commercial, residential, education, cultural and community developments in the country's largest cities.

It is involved in the full development process - from identifying and assembling sites, developing designs and obtaining planning permission through to financing, project management of the construction process, letting, asset management and (sometimes) selling. It also manages and maintains buildings and estate.
Our experience has taught us to approach development and regeneration with a long-term view. We recognise that masterplans need to be designed for adaptability - to allow the balance of land uses to change over time. Ongoing, high quality stewardship of buildings and spaces is also key to delivering value over the long-term.
Argent was founded in 1981 by Michael and Peter Freeman. Both remain engaged with the business, which has now been 'developing well' for over 30 years. Argent carries out more than 20 projects, mainly office and warehouse developments around the M25, with institutional, venture capital and contractor partners.
Argent has a reputation for delivering some of the best mixed-use developments in the UK. We are respected for our approach to business, which is always based on openness and integrity. We are proud and privileged to have such a committed, creative and talented team: people from different backgrounds and walks of life - with skills that range across architecture, engineering, finance, marketing, construction, planning and law.
The Management Committee supports and advises the business, providing a valuable sounding board for a wide range of issues. Chris is the BTPS director on the Argent Board and has been an active participant in Argent King's Cross and King's Cross redevelopment for the past three years. Chris is currently CEO of Hermes Real Estate Investment Management Limited, where he is responsible for the management of 6.2 billion of real estate.
