Services
We firmly believe in the prevention of disease, to help maintain a healthy pet vaccination is highly recommended. Microchipping is not only a legal requirement but an excellent way of identifying your pet should they become lost. This is a simple a quick procedure whereby a microchip is inserted under the skin causing no more discomfort than a standard vaccination.
Following a consultation if necessary we offer a full range of investigative procedures and treatment. With our fully equipped in house laboratory we can perform a range of blood tests, urinalysis and analyse tissue abnormalities allowing us to retrieve prompt results. This in a non painful and non invasive diagnostic tool allowing imaging of many body systems, it can also facilitate biopsy and pregnancy diagnosis.
With a fully equipped surgical facility we can offer treatment for your pet should it be a minor or major procedure required. We perform elective surgical procedures on a daily basis Monday-Friday and are of course available for emergency or non routine surgery when required. We operate with the use of gaseous anaesthesia and continuously monitor your pet during and after surgery until full recovery.
Dental disease is now a very common problem in our companion animals; more than 80% of our companion pets over 3 years of age will have some kind of dental disorder. A build up of tartar on your pets teeth can harbour bacteria with in turn can cause a very painful infection of the gums known as gingivitis and if left untreated the result can be lose of teeth.
