Avalon Pet Hotel has been established for over 30 years in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. Since 2000, the dog kennels & cattery have been run as a family business with many of our bookings from repeat business, personal recommendations and vet's referrals. We have recently been awarded FIVE STARS for our dog hotel and cattery following a recent licence inspection!

Services
We offer a full grooming service on site at Avalon Pet Hotel, in our modern, well equipped grooming room. We run an appointment system and cater for all breeds of dogs and cats. Our full dog grooming service includes a thorough brush out of the coat, followed by clipping or trimming as required. We then bath and dry the dogs, clip nails and clean or pluck ears.
The shop is stocked with a vast array of pet foods, treats, toys, collars, leads and grooming equipment. The main brands we stock are Burns and our own Avalon food which is a super premium dog food. If we don't have what you are looking for, we are always happy to order it for you from our suppliers.
All dogs MUST have up to date vaccinations - it is your, the owners, responsibility to ensure these are up to date. All dogs have to have the additional vaccination against 'kennel cough' 2 weeks prior to arrival. Proof of vaccination will be needed before admission to Avalon. Should ANY of these vaccines mentioned above be out of date your dog will be UNABLE to stay with us.
Our four dogs are extremely well cared for when boarding at Avalon Kennels and are always fit, well and happy when we pick them up. Nothing is a problem for the staff and are accommodating when we book in at short notice or change pick up times. Security and dog safety is well managed and we feel thoroughly confident when leaving them for any length of time.

We have been using Avalon kennels for many years. We travel from Northamptonshire and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else - our 3 doggies all trot off quite happily when left at reception. The modern and clean facilities are very impressive and it’s good to know that they are well cared for by genuine animal loving people. I would recommend Avalon for anyone who wants the best for their doggies.
