Acremead Kennels is a family owned dog boarding kennels set in 15 acres of the Oxfordshire countryside, only minutes from the A34 and within easy reach of the A40, M4 and M40. At Acremead Kennels we know your dog is a valued member of the family which is why we look after your dog with the love & care we'd want for our own.

We provide your dog not only with the physical needs, a warm, safe, environment but we also look after their enrichment needs too, with play, walks & even swims! This allows you to leave your dog, secure in the knowledge that they will be cared for and well looked after while you're away, giving you peace of mind and leaving you free to relax and enjoy yourself.
Services
We are Lyn and Paul, we have over 20 years' experience of owning and running dog boarding kennels in Oxfordshire. Being dog lovers ourselves, we wanted boarding kennels we would be happy to leave our own dogs in.

We felt that traditional kennels were too small & not what we would want for our own dogs, so we embarked on building luxury dog kennels to our own design - with lots of room for the important things, like exercise paddocks and private runs. The kennels were purpose built to the same standard as a house, with cavity walls, thermostatically control heating and double glazing.
To protect your dog and all our guests' health, we will need to see a current vaccination certificate with up-to-date vaccinations against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Your veterinary surgeon can advise you on this. We prefer that the vaccinations are done at least two weeks before your dog arrives.
For availabilty enquiries please telephone 01235 821119. As we are often busy with the dogs, you may get our answering machine (particularly during opening hours), please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Alternatively you are welcome to email us at [email protected] or use the contact form.
Payment can be made by the following methods: Cash, debit card, credit card and online payments (deposit only). We accept: American Express, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard Credit, MasterCard Debit and Maestro. A non-refundable / transferable deposit of 100 per booking or the balance of fees (whichever is less) is required to secure a booking; the balance is to be paid in advance or on arrival.

More spacious than other kennels. Owner was patient and helpful. Dogs were relaxed on collection.

I was also met with an incrediblely rude woman on the telephone (Lynda?). Absolutely no need for it. There are plenty of other boarding kennels in the area, that aren't staffed by such hot headed people.

Stood outside the gates, phoned up and was greeted by a very unfriendly lady. Didnt seem to want to help and let me know how stupid i was for just coming over to see what it was like!!
Some people actually want to see where they are dropping of their family pets before signing forms and paying 100£ deposits!

They take very good care of our elderly dog. It's hard to find such a good kennel.

My dogs are always extreamly well looked after when they go to Acremead, I have no hestation recomending them. This is a family business and customers should respect this, i find people are too quick to use Google reviews to air thier disrespect. If anyone wants to make a charity donation, thats thier own prerogative. The loss of a family pet is very difficult as they are a very well loved member of your family, and the loss is very sad, but please keep your grief private rather than use it to belittle others.

What a way to make money off of the death of my beautiful dog, Ellie, rest in peace. - Refusing to refund £50.00 deposit, which was going to be donated towards the research of Gastric Dilation/Torsion in dogs. Enjoy your £50.
