Established in 1990, Tricia & Fred Stammer built the cattery themselves using designs based on guidelines from the Feline Advisory Bureau, guidelines they still use today to help them run the cattery.The cat accommodations are individual, external, heated chalets that provide warmth and cover and an area for them to play in.

Services
All cat accommodations are constructed to designs recommended by the Feline Advisory Bureau and the Cattery is run to their standards. The individual chalets are large as are the open air covered runs which have a garden view. Heating is provided by infra-red dull emitters controlled by a thermostat set at about 20 degrees celsius.
The health, care and wellbeing of your cat/cats whilst boarding with us at Carlton Cattery, is of primary importance. We provide a high standard of accommodation for them and where possible ensure they eat the food they normally eat. The booking form requests information on the cat's normal food, this ensures we cater for their dietary requirements as best we can without disrupting their usual routine.
Carlton Cattery is located in Headley on Ashford Hill Road off the A339 Basingstoke to Newbury road. Although classed as being in Thatcham our location is a 10 minute drive from both Thatcham and Newbury. Many of our existing clients are local but many come from surrounding towns such as Kingsclere, Tadley and Basingstoke.
