Choreographed to release the innate fluidity and freedom of the body, the zen of the mind and the power of emotion. Our vision is that in 20 years from now the millions of yogis practising FG will be a new breed of OAP. Gone are the Zimmer frames, walking sticks and aches and pains. This new breed of Yogi Elder is up a mountain in their hiking shoes at 80, teaching their grandchildren handstands or scuba diving in Goa.

Love it here! First off, it is so great in the winter because it is so warm. The instructors are friendly and really do keep class accessible, offering a wide range of options during different times so everyone can flow at their own level. Bring a mat, they only let you use one for free during your first visit. Lockers are available, bring your own lock. Beautiful showers. Water bottle fill station. Towels. All the goods.

I got to experience the FG60 class for free when the studio was offering free class to the NYC marathon finishers. I used to go to Yoga to the People and was pleasantly surprised how nice the facility was (this was expected after seeing how much more classes cost here than YTTP). FG60 class was a bit fast paced and the instructor was talking fast but not clearly so it was hard to grasp what's going on in the beginning. Except for the speaking part, instructor was nice and pleasant to be around.

I really wanted to like this place, but it was a weird and uncomfortable experience. The premise feels like a bit of a dungeon (yes, I get it..it's supposed to be rustic) but it doesn't feel particularly fresh, calming or well kempt. I couldn't hear what the teacher (Emma C) was saying (I literally had to copy what everyone else was doing) - she was using a microphone which echoed and off-beat music was playing. She didn't seem to care when I reported it to her - quite indifferent in her approach towards me. I felt feeling more stressed than when I came. I regret purchasing the first timers offer

I really like the premises and the concept and the schedule which gives a lot of option and flexibility. However, the customer service and staff (teacher included) are not so nice and welcoming. The classes, despite the different names, all seems to be the exact same routines and exercises. The teachers barely show the movements or correct/help the students. It's basically aerobic class rather than spiritual yoga. And I have seen teachers getting very offended when students were leaving the class before it ends but excuse me, it's very hot and you can get dizzy and sometimes even feel sick if your

This is the best yoga studio I’ve ever been to - feel totally comfortable there (no judgements) and challenged in a really positive way by the instructors. Also a good full body workout! I’m only reticent to recommend because the classes do get very full sometimes... but if you can go off peak it’s really chilled

I did a month at Fierce City and it was, on the whole, lovely. A few things about it, in case they are useful for others thinking about joining - mainly very positive, a few less-positive points at the end.
* It smells really nice.
* Everyone is super-friendly and welcoming.
* I overheard some of the teachers in the changing room talking about how lovely it was to work for Fierce (which I think speaks v well of them in many ways).
* Their branding is so good, really suggesting diversity and inclusivity, and in my experience, that was totally reflected in the studio itself.
* If you've never

I have joined their City Studio four years ago when it still used to be Bikram. It was one of the Groupon special offers, but unfortunately, there were nothing special about it. Two years ago when I have decided to rejoin them again, it happened to be at the time of a big re-branding - Bikram was no longer relevant and they were introducing their new 5 class hot yoga - Fierce Grace. I will not lie, it took me ages to get into it. I have quit and rejoined several times, did 30 day challenge, did a few double classes etc., but the benefits are endless (watch a few videos online). All teachers are

I have been going to this studio for only a month now, but I thought I'd write a review as I found some old ones on Foursquare and other websites- they say the studio is old, the carpet smells...They seem to have revamped it- actually, redone completely in the last few months. I signed up because it looked and smelled new and immaculate, concrete floors, nice polished wood in the actual bikram chamber and plenty of space.
The teachers also man the reception before and after class, which means they're (mostly) available if you have questions about the postures, or want to discuss how to work around
