Lower Halsdon Farm
The 110 acre working farm is set in a beautiful rural location which benefits from wonderful views across the Exe Estuary. During Spring & Summer we graze sheep and cattle. Guests are welcome to explore the farmland, orchards and woodland that is Lower Halsdon Farm. The Exe Estuary Trail which passes the farm entrance is the ideal starting point for those who enjoy walking or cycling.

Why not bring your bicycles or let us arrange hire for you and spend a day pedaling the trail, starting with a short ferry passage across the Exe to Starcross. Exmouth Beach is only a 10 minute stroll away offering the opportunity to experience many activities including kite surfing, paddle boarding and windsurfing.

Recommend this place if you have a puppy or dog not so keen on socializing. Completely secure several acres of wonderful grassland overlooking the estuary. If here on a weekend the NT tea rooms are open. £5 for half an hour or £8 an hour. Amazing.

Lovely location, but poor service. A nice greeting and small talk goes a long way. A simple "No" isn't good customer service when asked if you have a certain product. "No I'm very sorry sir/ madam" is more polite. Also I don't agree with staff wearing what looks like gym wear to serve customers.

We use the dog walking field here. It is a lovely secure place to let dogs run off lead with great views!!! Even as the dark starts to creep in, the dogs love it ... fresh water and the hose down area are really handy additions.
