The holiday cottages on the Ashcombe Estate provide an outstanding choice of large Devon Holiday Cottage accommodation for Westcountry visitors in all seasons. Our cottages are available as winter or summer holiday houses, ideal for family holidays, family reunions, celebrations, business get-togethers and groups.
It's absolutely perfect for extended family groups on a South Devon holiday. Guests book Nut Tree Farm years ahead as there are very few holiday properties ideal for big groups. Nut Tree Farm has 13 bedrooms all with their own en-suite shower or bathrooms. The accommodation is in the barn wing of the building and the original farmhouse.
The Cider Barn is a beautifully finished holiday cottage for up to 16 people created in 2008. Passing the original cider apple orchard, a steep drive leads to commanding views over the scenic Ashcombe Valley between the rolling hills to the just visible South Devon coast. With excellent privacy, the house is popular with groups and extended families who want to holiday together in style.
Endeavour Farmhouse is a large, well-appointed holiday cottage for groups and extended families. The house overlooks a very beautiful part of the Ashcombe Valley and the main Woodhouse Courtyard. The interior was extensively refurbished in 2017 followed by the outside of the building and garden recently.
Devon self-catered holiday cottages with onsite facilities are the one of the best family UK holidays. The Woodhouse Farm complex has a great heated indoor swimming pool, a handy social room, a sauna plus indoor and outdoor children's play areas. All exclusively for our holiday cottage guests to relax in - whatever time of year it is.

Once again, our family had a wonderful weekend together at Nut Tree Farm.
The house suits us perfectly, we have a very large blended family 👪, they just love staying here and having plenty of room to relax and enjoy one another's company.
The younger children loved having the space to play hide and seek, the big ones loved the indoor pool.
No doubt we will be coming back again.

We stayed in Endeavour cottage for a week and it was fantastic. Suited our group of 12 ages ranging from 2 to 75 perfectly. Lots of space, private secure garden, glorious hot tub with lovely views and the swimming pool rota worked well. The outdoor play area was also a huge hit with the kids. The location is quiet and very rural but the kids enjoyed helping to herd cows and searching for the owls in the barn
The staff on site were helpful and responded quickly to any queries.
Overall a great staycation and we hope to return in the future

We rented the Cider Barn for a family holiday after trawling the Internet for suitable premises for 16 people. We found the premises homely, comfortable and well equipped. Plenty of room for 9 adults and 7 children under 10. A private swimming pool was an added bonus. Great holiday in a lovely are. Well recommended
