The Cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside, sitting across the lane from a small brook which eventually runs through the main street of Budleigh, a mile away. Opposite is the newly established vineyard 'Lily Farm' where the vines can be seen growing on the south facing slope. Just 300 yards away is the local pub where good food can be enjoyed and a carvery on Sunday lunch time.
Budleigh is a very dog friendly place, and you will often see dogs in pubs or banks often with their owners. In our experience dog owners are some of the most considerate holidaymakers and are more than happy to abide by some basic house rules. We ask that dogs are kept off the furniture and out of bedrooms.
Eventually you will come to a small roundabout, that has Budleigh Salterton straight on and Exmouth to the right. Go straight over towards Budleigh but take the next left into Knowle. In Knowle village take the first left opposite the 'Dog and Donkey'/ 'Britania' pub and the garage. You will see the two thatched cottages of Fudge cottage and Badgers Den on the left approximately 100 yards.
Badger's Den is priced on individual weeks - see the diary below. The prices quoted are the lowest and highest for that period - one for the main cottage with two upstairs bedrooms sleeping up to 4 people and the second one including the extra downstairs twin room & ensuite - sleeping up to 6 people in three bedrooms from Friday to Friday (3pm to 10am).
