We would like to welcome you and your child to Prepcare Day Nurseries. We hope that this website will give you a feel for how your child will spend their days at Prepcare. Prepcare Nurseries are mainly on Private school sites. They therefore have the benefit of extensive prep school facilities, grounds and support staff.

Thus they can offer a quality of nursery education and care not found at other nurseries. They are open to all, not just those children going on to the prep school. We will provide a loving atmosphere where your child has the opportunity to play and learn with others in a happy and secure environment.
Services
Communication and Language development involves giving children opportunities to experience a rich language environment; to develop their confidence and skills in expressing themselves; and to speak and listen in a range of situations. Physical development involves providing opportunities for young children to be active and interactive; and to develop their co-ordination, control, and movement.
For babies, many of whom may be placed with us full time; in these initial months our emphasis is on care, warmth and a smile. Just as parents talk to their babies, cuddle and play with them, so do we. Later, children start the process of preparing themselves for school but the emphasis is still on care, fun and discovery.
The vast majority of a child's day is occupied by play. However, we believe strongly in planning and our experience is that properly planned play produces great results and our generous staff/ child ratios aid individual development. Our programme is evaluated daily so as to ensure that it serves the needs of each individual child.
You can expect more from Prepcare than most other nurseries. Most of the above are included in the regular curriculum and is provided by specialist visiting staff. Some of the optional activities involve a small extra charge. Not all of the above are available regularly at each nursery, Prepcare retain the right to vary the above without notice.
Nine out of ten families with children are entitled to claim a tax rebate to help them fund childcare. This can be up to a maximum of 70p for every 1 you pay out in childcare costs. There is a limit of 175 per week for one child and 300 for two or more. This means the most you can get in your childcare element is 122.50 if you have one child or 210 if you have two or more children.

The staff are excellent and I always feel my daughter (1 and a half) is being cared for. The focus on child development is fantastic, and she has come on leaps and bounds since starting in September. A great number of toys and games are available and being added all the time. Dietary requirements have been met.
