After spending her early career in the insurance world in the central Manchester, Betsy took advantage of working from home to concentrate on her passion for cake design. Having always made cakes for family and friends, Betsy had thought about building on this passion to set up on her own and it wasn't until mid 2015 that dreams became a reality and finally Betsy's Pantry was born.

Betsy's Pantry is a home based business based in the beautiful surroundings of Lostock in Bolton. Betsy works all over the North West, making beautiful, bespoke Wedding Cakes, Celebration Cakes and Luxury Cupcakes for every occasion using only the finest ingredients. All cakes and cupcakes are made from buttercream and come with a standard luxurious filling of velvety vanilla or chocolate.
With your wedding day approaching, you will want your wedding cake to be a stunning centrepiece, the crowning glory to the best day of your life, the icing on the cake. When it comes to your wedding cake, it's all about personal preference-which is why we love the versatility of buttercream. Everything from the ingredients, to the flavor and color can be crafted to fit any couple's style and tastebuds.
Betsy loves creating tasty and fun birthday cakes for any age, in all flavours, colours and sizes. Adult's birthday cakes, children's birthday cakes, character cakes, traditional cakes, birthday cupcakes and so much more! I have a beautiful collection of cake stands, cupcake stands, wooden logs, candelabara's, birdcages, vases and other decorative accessories available for hire for your wedding/cake table. There is a selection of beautiful items which are shown here. My Ferris wheel has 16 shelves that hold's up to 1kg of sweets each, four of the shelves include a variety of cupcakes.
The prices are based on a vanilla or chocolate cake with buttercream, in your chosen colour scheme. Cake decorations, flavourings, macarons, sweet treats and flowers will be priced accordingly depending on your chosen theme. All my cakes are approx 5.5/6 inches in height. I also do free wedding consultations, where we can discuss and design your beautiful bespoke cake.

Jonathan and Sarah chose a 2 tier cake for their wedding, gin and lemon flavour bottom tier and rhubarb and custard top. The cake was colour co ordinated to match and adorned with beautiful flowers. The cake was beautiful on the outside and delicious on the inside!!

I had the great pleasure of seeing and tasting one of Betsy 's wedding cakes last month. As a previous banqueting manager, who sliced (and tasted) hundreds of wedding cakes over twenty years, I can honestly say this beautifully decorated modern wedding cake exceeded all my expectations. It was moist, very taste, light and very moreish, well done Betsy I will certainly recommend you. You are very worthy of my 5 star rating.
