I'd never been to Woodchats before but we came for the Harry Potter afternoon tea this afternoon for Halloween. What a fantastic experience at an amazing price. We were delighted with attention to detail with the floating candles and the music. When we were seated there were goody bags for the 'Wizards', of which further showed that a lot of… thought had gone into the experience. We loved our little Snitch choccies too! When the food came, the Wizards in our party were thrilled with their plates. And the hot sausage rolls for all were huge and delicious. Woodchats cater for dietary requirements

I am gluten intolerant and it is really difficult to eat out unfortunately. Add in a friend who is lactose intolerant and our joint birthday lunch seems like an impossibility.
I have heard fantastic thinks about Woodchats but I haven't ventured there before myself. The decor is lovely and modern. Its clean and the staff were lovely and friendly. This is my first experience eating out since lockdown so of course I felt a little apprehensive. The lovely lady dealing with us made us immediately feel at ease, she discussed our dietary requirements and what things they could do for us - which was quite

We came to Woodchats for a vegan afternoon tea and were so impressed!! Everything was so fresh and tasty! The two ladies working (Fi and I didn't catch the others name sorry 😔) went above and beyond. They were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home! They couldn't do enough for us or other guests! We're already planning to visit again soon and squeeze in afternoon tea during a lunch break! Thank you so much! It was so delicious!

This is a great little place conveniently situated at one end of the bus station. There is a good range of breakfast and lunch items and all are reasonably priced. My “go to” used to be the cheese and olive… scones but there is such a tempting array of homemade that it’s often difficult to choose. Sandwiches are made to order so are deliciously fresh. The staff are lovely and I know there are regular customers which is always a good sign. Forget the “chain” coffee shops, support our local independents and our community. Better atmosphere, better value and great

We went with some friends and all our kids (who mostly like Potter). The Slytherin sausage roll was tasty, my philosophers scone was as good as a scone ever is & my Voldermort sponge was tasty.
They had the usual bunch of teas and coffees. Fizzy pops range from your standard diet cokes & vimtos all the way through to fentimans posh bottles.
The place is stuck on the bus station it's an interesting shape, with a very high roof and lots of glass.
