I have been a Chef for a few years now and have worked with many butchers. I now use Andrews and I can honestly say he is head and shoulders above the rest. The quality of the meat is excellent across the range. As Andy is a Carcus butcher the constancy of his beef and lamb makes my job easier. He tailors his butchery to my requirements.

I’ve been using Andrew’s for a fair few years now. The produce is amazing and the team there are a lovely bunch. The pork pies are the best I’ve ever had, cooked fresh every day. If you get there early enough and they’re still warm they are game changers. The fresh meat is consistently really good. Fresh fish better than any supermarket. They’ve even made us a three tier pork pie for our wedding. Well worth a try

Wow came down here a couple of weeks back got some steak, minted lamb and some Barnsley chops absolutely delicious the lot of it and the amazing friendly staff chucked a couple of free pork pies in (still hot) and myself and a few lads at work without doubt the BEST PORK PIE WE EVER TASTED!!!! Highly recommended 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Get your meat here and forget about the supermarkets! I have bought my meats from Andrew's ever since moving to the area 3 years ago and have always had excellent steaks, mince, sausages, pies and pasties. The prices are very reasonable and the products always top quality. Service is also brilliant; they make you feel like a valued customer, not just a number through the door (well, it's an open fronted shop so that is just a metaphorical door!!). Also have a good range of sauces, pickles, chutneys and other accompaniments. They are a real, established butcher who know how to prepare and cook great

I purchased a fillet steak and a sirloin, both were excellent and fairly priced.
I also purchased Lincolnshire and tomato sausages that were poorly linked and irregular, making even cooking difficult. I would also consider them to have a high Rusk and very high water content. On cooking they de-filled themselves in the pan.
Staff are helpful and friendly.
