Been a few times now with family and friends, for a Sunday Lunch. WOW!!!
Very friendly place and staff. Lovely setting not to mention the food....
Well, where do I start. Meat cooked to perfection as are the veg, and the Gravy.... Scrummy.
Matt asked for extra gravy on our first visit, I wondered why, now I know!
If you’re in the area and fancy a good Sunday lunch, you won’t be disappointed here. And you won’t need an evening meal either!

Brilliant home made food, portions sizes are very generous considering the affordable prices. Welcoming atmosphere from the owners, and very cleanly kept. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to others

Out of the whole dinner I can only say one positive thing and that is that the chips are good. Here are the things that are not good.... The smell of the pool room, the Coca Cola, the customer service was alright, the steaks (by this I mean the chef cannot cook a steak the way you’d like. We asked for a medium rare and it was well done. They did bring another steak out but it was tasteless and still not rare enough) I ended up ordering a veg lasagne which was okay but when they were asked to take it off the bill they only took off £4 and said they couldn’t give a receipt?!???
Very disappointed

Dawn and Trevor handled the catering for my father's funeral at an outside venue. Nothing was too much trouble; their advice was friendly and knowledgeable, the food was fresh, tasted good and was good value for money (especially given that more than expected attended), and they brought a good range of fairly priced drinks.
