The Willow
The Willow restaurant in Pateley Bridge is a traditional English Cottage Restaurant having a quiet and intimate atmosphere set in an eighteenth century, oak beamed cottage. It is owned and run by head chef Margaret Ninness, whose creative hand is responsible for the excellence of the cuisine.

All our food is freshly prepared on the premises using local produce, which includes Nidderdale Lamb, locally-caught trout, and fresh sea fish from the Yorkshire Coast.Because all our dishes are prepared individually from fresh ingredients, we can usually accommodate special diets. Whether it's a quiet, intimate dinner for two, a family occasion, or a group dinner party, you can be equally assured of fine food in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

A group of us ate at the new Willow last night and it was just as amazing as we remembered it being! Everyone
Enjoyed their meals, the service was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We can’t wait to go back again!

Aaahh..the smell of Willow when you walk in the door! I so missed it! The atmosphere, cocktails and food are just as special as I remember. This place deserves to be more crowded. There are not many spots in Pittsburgh as special as Willow. This one deserves more attention.

We really enjoyed our meal at Willow. The staff seemed to be short so we didn't get a lot of personalized attention, but our base needs were met. However, we were inside and the table next to us was INSANELY loud so we couldn't hear each other at our own table. It was definitely a deterrent to an enjoyable meal.

I try to give positive reviews or say nothing. But this was awful. Food and service were both bad. Appetizer sat under heat lamp too long. Salmon was literally raw. Beans and greens were just large. Only a lot of salt helped. Don't go.

Wonderful outdoor dining this evening! Our waiter was extremely attentive and the food was delicious! Have not been here since the new owners took over and so far I'm very pleased.

I was surprised that the restaurant had changed ownership, the new menu was interesting so we tried a few different things. The calamari was sweeter, tempura cauliflower was not so good, coconut shrimp was ok, sea bass was cooked well , everything was bland or sweet. Food lacked flavor. Even the mashed potatoes were flavorless. Not impressed. Food felt like it was for someone on a restricted diet. The Cuban and Aviation cocktails were great. So A1 for service and drinks. Overall disappointed.

So happy that Willow is back! New owners have put together an amazing menu with something for everyone. We have tried so items on the menu and it has all been great. Great reasonably priced wines as well and local craft beers. Great for dinner and happy hour as well..

Crab cakes are the best I’ve had. Look at all that meat. Butter burger was tasty I heard, but I was focused on better things!
Service is slow when it is busy, but the food does make up for it, as well as the atmosphere. It is a Very Beautiful Place tucked away in the North Hills!

My family has returned to Willow many times over the past few years for special occasions. Each time we come we always have an excellent meal. The wait staff is always very knowledgeable and they do a great job of providing suggestions. I always appreciate that they remain inventive with their dishes without going too far left field. Their crab cakes are always out of this world and the preparation of their meat dishes are second to none. Personally, I highly enjoyed the foie gras but I also had a taste of their stuffed Cornish hen which was phenomenal as well. I can also say with assurance that
