We had a bedroom on the main road side of the hotel which was really noisy all night long. The place was clean and tidy but the decor is very dated, not that it bothered us. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, a small TV and a sink. We had the full English breakfast which was excellent and great value for money. Would I stay here again? Yes but would ask for a bedroom at the rear.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The receptionist was really lovely and very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was having to share the bathroom facilities. Despite that I would definitely stay at the P& J again.

Need to be updated, but fairly clean and comfortable, we needed accommodation on short notice so was ok for what we needed, close to queens medical centre! Breakfast was great! Very reasonably priced for what you get!

A sh%#$& place, not nice at all. Very minimal and not cheap for the sh%$ it is. You are lucky to remember your way in and out. Staff is rather OK but do not be surprised if you find out that your online/phone booking hasn't worked and you will be butt kicked to some other sh@

Stayed 1 night in a triple room, it was a little hot but nice enough. The staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfast was good. Easy to get to and from town centre on local bus which ran every 7 minutes👍

Great place for families as well as singles, great breakfasts at reasonable competitive prices (cheap for a hotel) ... This family ran hotel has friendly staff and a great atmosphere... Rooms are reasonably priced. And you don't have to be a customer to use the breakfast facilities, which the chefs are always most happy to oblige where it is possible.
