We believe that our food should stand a world apart from the 'Branded Pub food' that you may be served in pub or restaurant chains. We endeavour to offer Chef-prepared restaurant food at pub prices, including our famous Sunday Carvery, in a comfortable pub surrounding. We have two outside areas for dining in the summer and lots of very open plan interior parts in addition to more secluded bays and snugs.
The Four Crosses is the area's premiere function venue. We have three separate rooms to suit events of all sizes as well as our two outside areas to make the most of the seasons.

Excellent. Big family lunch today. Carvery and dessert. Our own room overlooking the garden, so the children could let off steam outside. Service and food very very good. Only downside was lack of bar staff, and how slow they were once you got their attention.
Overall, the whole family said they'd definitely go again

Visited for the Sunday roast, good service from a very friendly (I can only assume) Manager. She was very polite and engaging. Service for the carvery was very slow, waited a good 5/10 minutes to be told the chef was on his way a few times by passing wait staff then she showed up with his boxer shorts showing out the back so I can only assume what took him so long. The Yorkshire puddings weren't great, turkey was dry but the beef was good. Most of the other sides were a little lacking in any flavour and some of the veg was a bit too crunchy. Visited the toilets on the way out and they were flooded

Had only half a pint after an interview down the road. Very pleasant and friendly young couple who took over only in November. It was quite quiet, but it was only 6pm. They said they had a good range of food. There was a meeting taking place and they had food provided for that. The pub had plenty of space and room outside for sitting as well. Good luck to the new landlord!🙂

Fantastic carvery sunday lunch today very tasty and well cooked. Beef, turkey and roasted potatoes were amazing and there was a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Served by Charlotte and Becky both extremely helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend a visit for sunday lunch. Portion sizes were also spot on.

Visited this pub on holiday and the food was exceptional, so good we went back again on our last day. The food took a while to come but it was well worth the wait. Presentation and taste were both amazing. Even had a vegan option with vegan bread which I had which was delicious (lentil and squash casserole). Very good customer service and all staff were lovely and friendly. Toilets (female) were clean and hygienic. All round amazing and would definitely recommend and go back again.

Really nice pub. Staff were extremely polite and attentive. Nice beers on offer and the food was excellent. The fish and chips came with 3 size options, I had the medium which was big and the fish was brilliant well cooked with a lovely batter nice and light and too greasy. Really nice location very homely inside the pub and a really nice beer garden. Would highly recommend it

Zero stars really but you cant post nil. The lunch time experience of my friends and I is one we do not wish to repeat. Only a buffet menu offered, two courses, salad + main. Buffet cleared before we had eaten, then bought back out. Poor choice and cold!!! Limited drinks, unable to make a cappuccino. Still charged full price as nobody with authority to make a reduction. Three very unsatisfied customers . If this is new management then they really need to get their act together. Signs letting customers know of changes would be useful as there was no information forthcoming from staff. Very poor
