Our unique venue is conveniently located in the peaceful Staffordshire countryside, which gives you the perfect setting for your wedding. The Cowshed at Woodhall Farm was lovingly renovated in 2015 and still has many of the original architectural features, capturing the rural charm of this building.

The Cowshed is a unique DIY wedding venue which allows you to plan your wedding your way. The main building is able to seat 120 guests inside, with an additional dance barn available on-site to allow your guests to dance the night away. To help make your big day as special as possible we also include many features which are included in our venue hire price.

History Report

The adventure started back in 2014 when I was lucky enough to get engaged. Growing up, I had always wanted to get married by candlelight in an old farm building. With a little help from family and friends, we decided to convert The Cowshed into a space that we could make our own for the big day. I am now so passionate about the end result that it must be shared!

Prices Report

Our price entitles you to the exclusive use of the barn and all the facilities. Our price includes VAT and does not increase for weekends or peak seasons. The hire charge includes 4 days of hire to allow you plenty of time to setup before your big day. We do have decorative items, tables and a bar available at an additional cost that might take your fancy, please enquire when you come and visit.

Faq Report

Yes - please contact Lucy for more information as a have a few different options at the Cowshed where you can hold your ceremony. We only hire out the venue - you are able to use a professional catering firm of your choice. Yes - on confirmation of our booking we require a 500 non-refundable deposit to secure your date.
