The Norfolk Tank Museum is an independent museum housing a collection of military vehicles, weapons and militaria including Deborah II, the replica Mk IV Tank as seen on Channel 4's documentary 'Guy Martin's WWI Tank'. We have many other vehicles, uniforms and small arms on display. The Norfolk Tank Museum offers a unique, 'hands-on' experience, giving you the opportunity, wherever possible, to have access to and to handle our exhibits.
Weather permitting you can enjoy a white-knuckle ride over our off-road course in the 'Hagglunds BV206 All Terrain Vehicle', and then relax with a coffee and light snack in our tea room. We have disabled access to all our buildings and dedicated parking spaces. There is a picnic and children's play area, and access to local country walks.

Got a flyer at Tankfest so came and had a look. It's a private collection so it's only small. But...there's some amazing vehicles and most in running order. The staff were so helpful and went above and beyond... even though they were washing and parking up tanks they took the time to talk to me and to demonstrate some small arms.
Like I say, only small but well worth an hour or so.

We went to the Armourfest on Sunday 15 August. We were utterly disappointed. To start with we arrived at 9.45 and waited 45 minutes for a tractor and trailer to take us to the venue, which was about 2 miles away, so not a walkable distance. Had we known this we would not have booked! Very poorly organised, they knew numbers attending from the online sales. There were more models on display than actual vehicles & if it had not been for other organisations displaying their vehicles it would have been a despicable waste of money.
It was meant to be a re-enactment ....there was no German e-enactment

Visited the Armorfest event and had a great time with my lad and his grandad.
Lots of volunteers on hand serving and directing, and a great range of vehicles on display. Lots of hands on stuff too.
If you plan… on watching the arena events, it’s worth taking a chair as there is an embankment and some seating - but it’s first come first served.
Food and drink prices are good, often at these kind of events you pay through the nose, but everything was very reasonable.

Decided to visit the Norfolk Tank Museum instead of the other tank museum near the North Coast and very glad we did. The collection is very good and the displays are very informative. We were also lucky to visit when some tanks were being moved around, so we got to see (hear and smell) them in motion, including the Mark IV that Guy Martin was involved with. The ride in the BV was worth the small fee, and the entry fee was very cheap for the 3 hours we spent there.

Did the tank driving experience for my partner’s bday. One of the best things we’ve done in Norfolk!! First he shows you round the museum which is basically a massive collection of cool fun stuff. The owner Stephen is insanely into tanks and his passion is infectious. Him and his staff know so much about warfare it’s absolutely fascinating. The tank driving experience is SO MUCH FUN!! He’s got a whole race course you go round with hills you drive up! Also if you’re not from Norfolk you get to meet proper locals and get to know them ☺️

& I had a fabulous tour of the Tank Museum last week. The museum houses a very interesting collection of tanks as well as World War militaria for both world wars. We especially enjoyed the time that one of the volunteers, Alan Preston, spent with us. He explained everything and answered all my questions - his knowledge is outstanding and he weaved great stories around the items housed in the museum. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone and support this charity.

Lovely flat campsite with the added bonus of onsite ice cream and lollies. Nice welcome from owner, play area for youngsters. Picnic area with saplings and a short drive to independent garden centre and shops. Swimming pool next door and excellent museum on site. Will add this to my list of favourites for next time I'm in Norfolk.

When we turned up at the museum it looked very small from the outside and I was unsure on what it would be like in there and how much there is in there . We was greeted in the reception cafe area by the guy that runs the museum . Really nice chap . The main hanger/garage area had some massive tanks in there as well as gun exhibits which me and my… son found interesting . And there is also is a few tanks outside too view . The cafe has some toasties and sandwiches and some drinks and ice creams . Reasonable prices for everything in the cafe . We would go again too help this small museum out
