The museum was ok, be sure to book your boat visit the day before as these book up fast. Unfortunately, staff let it down on the day. If you're giving out sweets to children for them to pick themselves don't moan at them for moving one because of covid when they have a food allergies . Maybe ask what one they would like. Even if I'd taken myself it would have meant moving other sweets. We didn't return for the boat trip so can't review that.

There are several sheds with exhibits of boats. The day started poorly when their technology wasnt working and although we had pre booked and paid they weren't expecting us. I showed them our pdf tickets and we did gain entry. We had also paid for a 30 minute trip on their steam boat. The trip before is took ages to load up and set off, but we were hopeful that our trip would be more or less on time as there was a 30 minute slippage time between departures. However there was no sign of our boat at the departure time 45 minutes later or indeed 20 minutes after we should have left and as our dog

I did my first visit there today since the referbishment, I have to say it is fantastic.
It's collection comprises of various types of boats used on the broads and there is information on how they were used and what work they were used for.
There are also some great art works featuring boats on the broads and also equipment that was used to build and repair the boats.
The exhibition features a history of marine engineering and also a section showing the wildlife on the broads.
The staff are very helpful and are very knowledgeable on the subjects, if you are on holiday in this area or just passing

We really enjoyed visiting the Museum of the Broads. The staff and volunteers were really knowledgeable and clearly enjoy what they are doing. We are especially thankful to the man who took the time to teach our children some new knots, they are looking forward to going back to scouts and showing everyone what they have learnt!
