We also sell some live stock including Rabbits, Budgies and Guinea Pigs. We sell many popular brands of pet food which can be portioned to suit your needs.

Having pets in and around the home can be a rewarding thing. The decision to have a pet live with you is absolutely huge. There are so many things to consider. Work commitments, financial, veterinary, insurance and so on. If you make the decision to have a furry friend then we are very much here to help with its care.

The Welcome Pet Shop is a family run business in the Marton area of Blackpool. Run by Mother Jackie and Daughter Jodie since 2004. With team members also including Paddy Noodle (Chief inspector of treats and meats) and Arnie Bow (Head Squeak tester). We stock a variety of different products all reasonable priced.

Our Staff Report

Longest standing member of the Welcome Pet shop since 2004. However, as a compulsive buyer she has now been banned from rep meetings. With over 14 years' experience in the pet trade and over 40 in animal care, she specialises in chickens, horses and of course dogs. Originally started as a Saturday girl in 2004, leaving for a few gap years and returning in 2011, Jodie is now the Licence holder for the welcome pet shop.

Great staff. Very friendly and always willing to help with lots of animal knowledge. Have used for a few years for previous dog and will continue to with my new addition . Prices good aswell.

Friendly staff, have a fantastic selection of treats and food for many animals, and merchandise for many animals, toys for many animals, if they don't have it they can order it for you, my dogs love this place. I recommend this place to anyone who has animals

Is this the only pet shop in town to sell greyhound collars? Have tried 5 different pet shops, including Pets At Home, to no avail. This one supplied the goods, staffed by a very friendly, knowledgeable lady, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Competitive prices on dog food as well!!! £9 for 40 sachets of Winalot wet food!
