Pilling Pet Shop is a country pet shop selling a wide range of products for cats, dogs, small furries, horses, chickens, fish and wild birds. We also stock food for cows, sheep, goats and pigs. We also run Veterinary Nurse Clinics by appointment and we have an in-house Dog Grooming Salon, so we can bath and groom your dog to your requirements.

The shop ensures that customer satisfaction comes first and has a traditional and personal service. Specialist Veterinary diets and supplements can be ordered and if we have not got it in stock we can order it for you. Just ask a friendly member of staff who will be more than willing to assist you.

Grooming Report

Pilling Pet Shop will groom any breed of dog to the owner's requirements, all dogs will receive a health check from the qualified veterinary nurse before a bath and groom takes place. A consultation will be held with the owner to ensure all instructions are followed. The In-house grooming salon has been designed with all the specialist equipment to ensure your dog gets the best possible care and treatment while being here.

Sold me a dwarf hamster. I took the cage with me to get the hamster to make sure it was suitable before we bought him. 2 members of staff saw the cage, even put the hamster in it and neither mentioned the cage… wasnt suitable. The hamster escaped through the bars on the first night! Thankfully he was found safe and sound but I had to go and buy another cage. I expected staff to be knowledgable and ensure the animals had suitable housing before sale. They also couldn't tell me the age or Gender of the hamster.

Really friendly staff with a great range of animals. Would definitely recommended as I’ve never had a rabbit as cuddly as little blue and jasmine ☺️
