Services
A child's first step into pre-school is also a first step to independence, at Village Nurseries our goal is to encourage that independence through educational activities that are fun and stimulating. It's a big exciting world out there, and we want children to leave for their next steps in life equipped for the journey.
We value our parents as the most enduring educators, and recognise when staff and parents work together in an early year's environment, the results have a positive impact on children's well-being, learning and development.
Parents are encouraged to attend our regular workshops that are invaluable in showing parents the varied and exciting activities we provide, and also give the children the opportunity to show their parents their nursery work, something they are always proud to do, and which really benefits the children's confidence and well-being.

We understand that being physically healthy is not simply about healthy nutritious food, but includes a clean and safe environment, mental stimulation, access to outdoor spaces and loving and trusting relationships.
Daily opportunities to play outside in the fresh air, learning about the world around them, including studying nature and the changing seasons and participating in all kinds of physical play, such as riding bikes, throwing and catching balls, and enjoying large group games with their peers, that require co-operation, listening skills and exercise.Children's physical development is a prime area of the Early Years Curriculum.
