Services
We have two JD Engineering workshops, both within easy access of the main transport networks reaching Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. At our seven-bay workshop in Dumfries, we're able to offer service and repair on all vehicles, as well as fabrication and weld repairs on steel or aluminium, the supply and repair of hydraulic wet kits, truck mounted crane repairs, and spare parts.
Our skilled and experienced technicians have the knowledge that enables them to repair all makes of trucks and trailers. At JD Engineering, we are an authorised testing facility for motor vehicles, trailers, ADR testing, RPC and LEC certificates, passenger vehicles, with an official DVSA, ATF testing lane at our Dumfries site. Our dedicated testing facility is conveniently located on the A709 Lockerbie to Dumfries road, near the Dumfries Bypass at Dargavel Stores, Lockerbie Road, Dumfries, DG1 3PG.
From sensor problems to engine management lights and ECU replacement, at JD Engineering we have an experienced team available to diagnose and repair any issues with your vehicle. We are a Wabco service centre for EBS / ABS brake faults, and we also diagnose and repair Haldex and Knorr-Bremse systems and offer Jaltest diagnostic equipment for all makes of trucks, vans and trailers.
