However, like most hospitality venues, we have had to adapt resulting in a few notable changes to the way we operate this year. If you wish to make a reservation kindly call us Tuesday to Saturday after 2pm. We can take reservations seven days or less in advance so please try to ring the week before.
And please be patient - we are extremely short staffed. If we dont answer the phone right away its because we are on another call or taking care of another customer. Sadly we can't offer our regular lunch service this season, however we do cater for private lunch parties of between 18 and 30 guests by prior arrangement.

Lovely meal in a beautiful setting (and I don’t even like fish that much!)
Restaurant was very clean, and we had a nice welcome and were given the choice of an inside table or sitting outside. All the tables have a view of the water.
The food was tasty, served efficiently and with a good choice of dishes. (The drinks menu was slightly more limited and they don’t offer shandy if you prefer it to beer.)
The portions were a good size (so no room for pudding which was bit of a disaster!)
Nice place to eat — but you need to book ahead.

We visited Cafe Fish recently, and it was really worth the visit. The fish was fresh, and the menu had a lot of different options. I had the seafood stew which was packed with fish, and had a really rich broth. Moreover, the staff we dealt with were nice and able to give us a table despite no reservation.
The only negative is booking a reservation. I wasn’t able to get through to someone on the phone despite regularly calling to book. Maybe online booking would be more successful?

So pleased we managed to book a table. Four wet and hungry tandemers arrived the first night of reopening after the long pause. What a friendly and accommodating team. Kit put to dry we sat down to one of the most difficult decisions when eating out. I for one wanted to try everything on the two part menu. Amazing selection of seafood dishes on the laminated version and sheer delight on the chalk board. Langoustine that melt in the mouth followed by sea bream simple and delicious. Heaven. Rounded off with waffles for dessert, to power the ride up to the camp site🙂. The team were great. Our era

Cafe fish never fails to impress. The roast shellfish platter is incredible and is without a doubt the best thing I've ever eaten. There is a fantastic mix of fresh shellfish including oysters, scallops, langoustines, squat lobster, crab claws and lobster and it's smothered in garlic and herb butter with a few slices of home made bread on the side. Words can't do it justice but maybe the pics below will be a good indication. The Tom yum soup main and crab claws starter were also excellent and the service was also really good. It's a bit pricey but you're getting some of the best quality fish and

My wife and I came here for dinner and found the food to be outstanding. I especially like the tomato chutney and was fortunate when they shared the recipe with me. The fish was VERY fresh and the views fantastic. We had a very friendly and efficient staff and they were knowledgeable on what to recommend and their suggestions were spot on.

Excellent seafood in a casual cafe overlooking the harbor. We had a variety of seafood and gladly ate every morsel.
We just walked in for lunch, so I can't speak for the need for reservations. A large group arrived after us, and the staff happily moved tables around to fit them in. It's a bit of a squeeze, so strollers aren't allowed.

So delicious! The best restaurant around. Must visit if you are in the area and a seafood fan (though I will say, my husband doesn't eat fish and there were plenty of options for him on the menu, which he said tasted wonderful). The service is good and the restaurant is cute / casual. Highly recommend!

The owner of the b&b we stayed at recommended this for dinner and thank goodness- SO delicious! If we were staying another night, we would've gone back. The menu is large and all the fish is caught that day from their own boat. Husband and I are both big scallop fans and each tried a different dish with them- both so delicious. We agreed it was one of our favorite meals of our entire vacation.

If you are lucky / wealthy enough to moor your yatch / dingy in the harbour, you should stop here for a decent dinner.
Cafe fish is a Really good simple seafood restaurant in a pretty location, right on the pier. Just a few tables are open. So consider booking if you re heading there on weekends. Seafood is sourced locally with the exception of caviar.
The seafood hot platter presents the same products as in the cold platter option but is cooked in "persillade" butter (melted butter with garlic and herbs). That sounds terrific but tends to blend all the seafood tastes together.
