Great country pub. Log fires, plenty of beers to choose from. I went with a group of friends for drinks and evening meal. The staff were friendly and attentive. One of my group wasn't happy with the belly pork dish. Looked ok to me. Anyway it was changed for something else without any question or fuss. The food was delicious and a decent sized portion. I had a Trio of Sausage. I will definitely go again.

Entered the Pendle Inn after a walk to the nearby Pendle Sculpture Trail on a snowy and misty November afternoon. We were immediately welcomed with a friendly 'come in' and looking no doubt a little bit wet and cold, after ordering drinks, were directed to a table by the fireplace. After a few minutes, we decided we'd get a bite to eat as well. The food was absolutely delicious, compliments to the chef, and the young lady that served us was polite, courteous and attentive throughout. Top marks again. The Inn is dog friendly, there were a number of dogs in on my visit, and it was also nice to see

Called in here for a drink and ended up ordering a meal after climbing Pendle Hill. Good decision! The food was delicious. Home cooked with very generous portions and reasonably priced. I had the cheese and onion pie with was really tasty, my partner had the Pendle pie which was equally as delicious. We will definitely be eating here again when we are visiting the area. Highly recommend a visit.

Barley is a beautiful place from which to do a variety of walks. The Pendle Inn is just perfect, situated in the centre of the village, it serves food all day every day and walkers and dogs are welcome. You can dine in the old, traditional country inn part or in the modern conservatory. There are log fires to warm up on those winter days.
A good, varied menu and the food is cooked well and is tasty. There is a fine selection of Moorhouse's cask ales to choose from. The service is good too. A bigger selection of bar snacks/sandwiches as opposed to main meals is the only thing that would improve

I visited this excellent pub on a Saturday lunchtime with my brother & sister-in-law, to have a quick meal and a drink, and we were all very impressed.
The service was friendly and efficient, the setting pleasant (we ate in the modern and nicely decorated conservatory at the rear of the pub, with paintings for sale adorning the stone walls), the food was marvellous (the menu is extensive, if a little pricey) - I can recommend the beef bap - and the real ale range was top-notch.
For you beer buffs, as this is a Moorhouses pub, there was Pride of Pendle on offer, as well as Bowland Hen
