MCS Motorcycles was established in 1976 under Neil Adamson and started in a wooden shed, eventually moving to an old bakers with a house attached at Abercorn Street, Paisley and acquiring Yamaha. In 1994 the business was taken over by Bill Thomas who subsequently turned the attached house into a much larger showroom.
A qualified Maintenance Engineer prior to becoming a motorcycle dealer, Bill has 23 years' experience as a Dealer Principle with various motorcycle franchises. A qualified Civil Engineer, Alun has been riding for 19 years and was previously a motorcycle instructor with Trafalgar MCS, Greenock then Bike Rite, Rutherglen for 13 years before moving into sales with MCS Scotland in 2011.

Recently purchased a bike from MCS and can't recommend them enough, from my initial viewing of the bike to test riding to purchasing it was all smooth sailing. I dealt with Greg for most of the transaction who was very knowledgeable and attentive, other staff members I met were also happy to help and were more than happy to answer and assist all questions.

I dont often do reviews but over the last 18 month I have bought a bike, sold a bike and used the service department a couple of times at MCS, each and every time the service provided is excellent. Most of my dealings have been with Greg in sales, nothing is any hassle and he is always a pleasure to deal with. Alun is always keen to help and all the service people are friendly. Cant recommend enough. Unusual in this day and age !

Had my MT-10 in for a front brake switch recall from Yamaha and Alan talked me through everything, keeping me up to date on part arrival and when he could book me in.
The procedure itself took less than 30 mins and I was given the bike back to enjoy the rest of the sunshine for the rest of the day.
Professional service which I would recommend. 👍🏼

What can I say. Top notch, start to finish. From my initial email query to picking up the bike the service was properly top drawer.
Jumped down for a test ride and even though closing time was approaching I never felt rushed.
Kept in the loop quickly when there was a small delay in picking the bike up, which wasn’t a bad thing as it gave me peace of mind that they were being thorough with the bike.
Would recommend to anyone.

I got in contact with the sales team Alan and the service he provided myself from start to finish was 5 star treatment. The company are very friendly and will do anything to help you . On collecting my Honda… CB1000R they had put over half a tank of fuel and also waited till the day before collection to MOT the bike so I wouldn’t loose a single day. The bike was fully valeted . I collected the bike yesterday and she rode perfectly. After getting home I had ran over a nail so had to get back in contact. I spoke with Alan and took the bike down this morning and they are replacing both

MCS provided me a great service, gave me a great trade in against my new bike. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, gave me some great advice, they were extremely happy to answer all my questions. Nothing was too much trouble, they were great and I would recommend anyone to go along and speak to the team. Thanks for a really smooth exchange of my old to new bike.
