My obsession with cake decorating began when I offered to make my brother-in-laws wedding cake. I hadn't decorated a cake since I was a kid so I thought I had better get practicing! Luckily the wedding was a year away so I had plenty of time to practice. I started decorating cakes for family & friends and JoJo's cakes was born.

I received lots of help and advice from my mum who decorated cakes when my sister and I were little. My mum learnt from my grannie, so it is a real family passion. The men in our family seem to appreciate all the cake! I love food! As well as cake decorating I love to cook and dinner in our house is rarely the same thing twice!

Buttercream/drip cakes Report

These cakes can be personalised with cake topper or decorated with your favourite chocolates! Pink ombre buttercream cake decorated with dark chocolate drip, macrons, sugar flowers and a personalised. Tennis themed buttercream cake decorated with white chocolate, sugarpaste tennis ball and a green personalised.

Kids cakes Report

You can find my latest birthday cakes creations below. Current favourites include Harry Potter themed cakes, Peppa Pig, sports, superheros and Hello Kitty cakes (I could miss that one out). All of my birthday cakes are made to order and 100% customised and make a great addition to any kids party. Two tier science theme cake for a boy celebrating his birthday at Magna Science Adventure.

Jo made me a wonderful Minecraft drip cake for my son’s birthday and it was fantastic! Chocolate sponge inside that tasted amazing and was loved by all! Would highly recommend and will definitely be using Jo again in the future. Thanks Jo! Xx

Had a cake made for my mums 60th and it was lovely! My mum was so happy and surprised with it. She’s not usually a cake eater but she definitely would recommend hers, we loved the attention to detail from what I asked for. Will be using again!

We had requested two large cakes for our company anniversary of a piece of equipment that Mechan manufacture, Turntables. With just a few (not too clear) images Jo was able to create exactly what we had in mind. They are absolutely fantastic, tasty and our guests were amazed with how much they looked look our equipment. We go to Jo whenever we want to liven up a birthday or special day. Jo has made some brilliant cakes and cupcakes for us on lots of occasions including a Peppa Pig cake and some epic Despicable Me Cupcakes.
