Services
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01892 835456 and you will be advised what to do next. We also have specific information for farm and equine emergencies. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact 01892 835456.

The service was good and I was able to get an appointment , however ' due to covid' you are met outside and your pet taken in . When my pet was bought out nothing was mentioned about payment so I asked whether i call and an invoice be issued to which I was told yes . I assumed as was my first visit that due to the 'covid' procedure , this was what happened . I then get a very abrupt email , attaching the invoice , not even personalised with my name stating payment is expected at consultation . This spoilt the experience

I couldn’t fault Putlandsvets. We recently had to go through the heart break of our beloved dog being put down due to his terminal illness but the Vets and other staff here all treated us with such kindness and compassion. They definitely cared for us and our dog very well, every step of the way. You can tell they all genuinely love animals and want to help us the owners do the best we can for them. They even sent us a sympathy card since our dog has passed. Thank you again to you all at Putlands and we could recommend to all.

Covid safe (we waited outside till we were called), really prompt and really reasonable service charges. Warm friendly welcome from staff, patrons and their pets. Amazingly beautiful location. We took our Dubai Feral Mau StreetCat rescue, Shadow Cat too Putlands today for a check up for the 1st time. Maria, Shadow Cats physician, was really knowledgeable, empathetic and really understanding of both our concerns and put our minds at rest. We felt immediately that Shadow Cat was in safe hands. We thought Shadow Cat would be nervous and a bit grumpy like he normally has been but he took too Maria
