Port Mor Community Cafe
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We offer a multi cuisine menu to suit everyone's palate. In addition to that we also provide take-away food. Catering for large groups, weddings, birthday parties and community events can provided by us as well. Port Mor Community Cafe is half a mile south of Port Charlotte, the beautiful conservation village on the Rhinns of Islay.

The cafe has stunning views over Loch Indaal and it's a lovely 10 minute walk from the picturesque village centre. Families are very welcome and for the kids there is a large and very well maintained play park next door. We have ample parking and outdoor picnic benches to enjoy the stunning views and lovely welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

Warm welcome and, despite being busy, good service from Michael.
Good variety of food and of excellent quality. Comibined with the stunning sea views, reasonable pricing, and the fact you’re supporting a community project, it’s highly recommended.

20210720-Had the dinner special of langoustines. Very fresh and flavorful but could have used an included starch or bread without having to order chips on the side for the £15 price for I believe 5 or 6 langoustine. and was a dinner item Salad was executed nicely. A touch of balsamic would have elevated. While I received a pick, something to crack the shells would have been nice as the shells are spiny and sharp and I was pricked several times. Service Staff A+, Dinner I'd rate a B, maybe just shy of B+

Relaxed and unpretentious eatery with lovely views of the sea. The food is great (especially seafood), service fast and friendly and the prices more than fair. Check out their daily specials.

Very tasty food at reasonable prices. Especially Fish & Chips is very recommendable. The restaurant is run by the former owner and chef of "The Cottage" in Bowmore.
