We have been looking at how we can improve access to your GP practice and improve the patient experience. In partnership with DoctorLink, we will be running a pilot which will give you access to a new service. We aim to provide our patients with the most suitable healthcare advice, to help you share your symptoms with your GP/nurse, and to avoid lengthy telephone wait times if you need to request an appointment.

Please remember all prescription requests need to be ordered direct with the surgery and not through 3rd party pharmacists (including online pharmacies).
Services
The practice has the right to remove online access to services for anyone that doesn't use them responsibly. It is about having a sense of happiness and contentment in all aspects of our life, including physical and emotional health, community connectedness, social interactions, relationships, home life, work and financial security.
The practice employs a Health Care Assistant who assists the Nurses and will undertake some routine checks on their behalf. If you are requested to provide a specimen, always remember to include your date of birth and name on the container. This information is a minimum legal requirement and without this information your specimen will be discarded.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
Having an ill child can be a very scary experience for parents. If you understand more about the illness it can help you to feel more in control. This booklet is for parents (and older children) and deals with common infections in children who are normally healthy. There is a good guide on the NHS website which describes various conditions affecting children.
This factsheet is for people who have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or who would like information about it. These links all come from trusted resources but if you are unsure about these or any other medical matters please contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice. Diabetes is a long-term (chronic) condition caused by too much glucose (sugar) in the blood.

This place is an utter joke. You ring and they tell you "call back at 8 o'clock tommorow morning because thats when our appointments go out for tommorow" so you call back the next morning at 8 o'clock, you spend 20 minutes on hold to be told they're out of appointments for the day and to call back tommorow at 8 o'clock.

They have stopped responding to phone calls in the past 3 weeks. If this isn't an operational failure I don't know what else to call it.

This medical centre would be great if some of the reception staff would deal with requests in a ore polite manner

The doctors and reception staff here have always been fantastic. The adjoined pharmacy is great too.
Staff here work so hard and do such a brilliant job in really difficult circumstances. I hope more people recognise this too.

Rude staff, impatient receptionists, cannot get an appointment for love or money even before covid.
They expect you to die before they actually give you an appointment.
They do not have enough doctors, they have too many patients, and nobody cares for those that are genuinely ill, if you live in Raunds welcome to the medical care or rather lack of medical care that is here!

I wish there was a 0 star option. Avoid Nicholas Peat at any cost. I unfortunately had a telephone consultation with him today. It was not like a consultation but an interrogation. He was so rude, lacking empathy, not assuring as a medical professional. And then he hang up on me in the middle of the consultation.

Local medical centre off the london road in raunds parking is tight at times but you can find a space two acssable parking bays by the front door with ambulance pickup / drop point outside the carpark is shared by the pharmacy next door. There is some off street parking outside the main site. Be aware of mobilaty scooter drivers. With covers on they can zip across and off the site unanounced to get home. Oblivious to Road traffic As they speed in/out of the site.
Will also park a pedesian vehicle anywere on the road and walk to the surgery door.
