BH Photography Club are now based at The Hamworthy Club permanently. We meet on Wednesdays at 7.30pm, except for the first Wednesday of the month. We have a full and varied programme aimed at developing our members photographic expertise, whatever their level. Activities include workshops, competitions and presentations by guest speakers on a broad range of topics.
The Hamworthy Harriers were established in 1987 and the Harriers philosophy has always been to balance the sport of running with an active social side and a sense of fun. These runs take place off-road during the months of March to October. After working up a thirst on the run members usually retire to the comfort of the Hamworthy Club for a bite to eat, a few refreshments and some lively conversation.

The Social Membership allows you entry to the Club, with discounts on catering, entertainment and facility hire. You would then pay for sports facilities as and when you use them. As you know Membership to the Club is for everyone. By providing the various facilities to your staff members, it provides an ideal place for their leisure time and in return the you as an employer benefits from a healthier workforce.

We attended an evening wedding reception in one of the two halls at the Hamworthy Recreatiin Club, Canford Magna. The buffet food was excellent with a large choice of dishes, the cost of drinks was very very good (cheaper than most pubs and restaurants) and the room was decorated in house with floor to ceiling translucent curtains which were illuminated from behind by hundreds of small led white lamps. All round fabulous and a recommended venue.
