The hidden gem of Bournemouth. One of the last bastions of original local music in the area. Good real ales downstairs, good cocktails upstairs. Always a friendly crowd. And that garden, amazing. Food in the restaurant also good. Also feels like a safe place, many friendly security people on hand.

The bar changed its name (maybe also the owner). The bartender is an arrogant jung boy. The one serving the tables was a very nice and friendly person, but because of the bartender I don't feel like coming back or telling any friend to go there.

I was lucky enough to visit this place with my friends who highly recommended it. I know why! Awesome cocktails, great team behind the bar - overall ambience was spot on. Really cool little gem 💎

Great cocktails and a great location. The Old Fashioned we ordered was very well made. I even had to water it down with the ice since the bourbon taste was too strong. Service was friendly but things could be organized more efficiently, especially on a busy weekend night.

Excellent drinks of high standards paired with jazz music, sympathic guests and attentive and charming staff! I recommend the "old fashioned" as a well served true classic. Be aware that it might get pretty packed over the weekend!

Located in an old cellar, high quality drinks are served by expert bartenders in a smoky, 60s inspired atmosphere. Great for a night out, though make sure to visit during the week, as this place is extremely crowded during weekends and service is therefore not especially quick. Also: no cellular reception, doesn‘t bother most of the time, as you can enjoy talks with your friends, but can be tricky if others are coming later / spontaneously.

Good ambiance, nice cocktails. Not as classy as the one in Stuttgart, but more suitable for small groups. Definitely a place to try!

As a regular here, I may be a bit biased. But it has everything you want, a nice beer garden, live music, good clean ales and good food. A real gem hidden in plain sight. From the front it doesn't look much and would probably deter some people, being stuck in a grimy side of Boscombe and all. But if you give it a try you might be pleasantly surprised.

This place is one of the hidden treasures of an otherwise seedy Boscombe. Lovely garden, underground cellar bar, great atmosphere, live music, this place has it all. Reminds of places like The Windmill in Brixton, alternative and lo-fi but friendly. Check it out!!!!!
