Comfortable, warm, peaceful and welcoming holiday cottage with stunning views of the Upper Teme valley, the river and regularly visiting wildlife. Enjoy the views, listen to the river, watch the birds or settle in front of the wood burner with one of the many books, games and videos; maybe use the WiFi to catch up with friends.
Walk or cycle from the door, visit interesting places, famous gardens or adventure sites. All linen provided. Sunroom with access to a balcony, patio and garden, patio furniture and some bird food provided. A further lounge and very well-equipped kitchen. Children catered for. There is secure dry accommodation for bicycles.

Lovely cosy cottage! Marje and John were very welcoming when collecting the keys from them. The kids loved the place and playing in the garden and exploring. Our youngest loved filling the bird feeders and watching the birds feeding as well as seeing the cows in the field opposite. Well worth a stay!

We (2 couples and a dog) spent last Easter at the Rose Cottage and although the weather let us down the place exceeded our expectations. What an inviting, cosy (but not tacky), well maintained and environmentally friendly little house with a mesmerising view from the back room! The kitchen is equipped better than my own at home, the garden well secured so perfect for a dog. The area is a paradise for nature lovers, especially for bird (and sheep lol) watchers. And there are so many places to visit within a short drive (Elan Valley, Ludlow Castle etc).
The owners, very hospitable and friendly,

We’ve enjoyed two holidays at Rose Cottage. The cottage is small but plenty big enough for a couple or small family, plus dog. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the sun room at the back of the house, watching the birds on the bird feeders and the antics of the squirrels also trying to get the bird food. The location of the cottage makes days out easy and enjoyable, there are a number of National Trust properties within reach as well as the glories of Hereford Cathedral. And Elan Valley which we saw in post Easter snow! Highly recommended property.

Rose Cottage is set in a most beautiful and peaceful part of Mid Wales. It is clean, modern, well equipped and very comfortable. From the kitchen window and sitting on the balcony, one can see many varieties of birds coming down to feed. Fascinating! Garden slopes down to a stream and in the distance the cows and sheep happily graze. Approximately two minutes in the car is "The Radnorshire Arms" where there is a varied menu and the food is good. If you are looking for somewhere you can completely chill out, then this is for you - or if you are a walker, the trials are endless. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED
