Fantastic venue for a coffee stop or meal. Dog friendly and right on the coast path, so ideal for walkers and holiday makers. The large decks with glass sides have panoramic views of the bay and the stunning sunsets over the ocean. Food is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is popular so patience may be required in peak season, but worth any wait

I've lived in Devon for a decade and was surprised, within a year, to discover a venue that had such great food and ambience, not to mention the phenomenal views. The food is simple but well crafted, delicious and generously served, while the service is usually polite and professional. It's a great place to visit all year round and the prices aren't astronomical. My only complaint is they stopped doing the raspberry and white chocolate sundae, which I'd visit weekly for as it was the most divine ice cream dessert I've ever experienced but I need to lose some weight anyway. I booked a table a couple of weeks in advance as I knew what date and time I wanted to visit. There was plenty of parking near to the entrance. There was loads of out door seating but unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough to sit outside! We were shown to a lovely table in the window with views out over the whole bay... absolutely stunning!!
There were 4 adults and 1 child in a high chair in our party. We were given menus and asked for drinks order straight away.

Having live fairly local we have been aware of the Pier House for some time, and were keen to try it out. We were not disappointed. We visited the Pier House this afternoon on the intention of a couple of drinks and a bite to eat. Meeted and greeted by extremely warm, punctual and professional staff. Atmosphere on the terrace was buzzing with conversation.

Visited this impressive British seafood bar and restaurant with gorgeous sea views with a big group for a friends birthday. They have a great selection of local beers and ales and also gin, not forgetting a large wine and champagne menu too. We pre ordered our meal preferences in advance, as advised by the staff, and these were delivered together shortly after we were seated at our table. The food was delicious and of a very high standard and the waiters were extremely helpful and friendly throughout and took great care of our group. Thoroughly recommend if you are in North Devon.
