I recently spent a weekend away with friends at Beaford House. It was a spacious house that met the needs of our very large group well. The beds were comfortable but the inside was fairly dated, the house could do with some simple renovations and repairs (eg the kitchen door handle wasn't screwed on, towel rails fell off after putting a towel on it). The garden was particularly good with a hot tub, pool and fantastic views.
Sadly our weekend was tainted by the very bad attitude of the owner. Please be aware that the owner's house is very close to the property - giving her ample opportunity for

A beautiful house aimed at the stag and hen parties. Great pool, hot tub was hot although could probably to with a service as some of the jets no longer worked. Rooms were comfortable although a bit dated. En suites were ok but could probably do with a refresh, perfectly adequate though. Relaxing areas were relaxing looking out to spectacular scenery and the gardens are fantastic. The grand banquet room could probably do with new carpet. All in all we will probably go back but please remember it is aimed at stag and hen parties so don't expect a plush grand house ..... The pool and hot tub and

This house is just amazing!!!
We came here for a surprise Hen Weekend and could not have asked for a better venue.
In the glorious weather we enjoyed all of the outside space, the outdoor pool, the hot tub and the summer house. The grounds are just beautiful and have views into the countryside for miles to see.
Inside the house there are great spaces for entertaining, eating and relaxing.
(The furniture is dated with the age of the property so some of it is a little tired and might benefit from some upgrades, a chair broke just by sitting on it in the dining area)
