Our extended family of 10 rented two of the cottages at Beaconside House for 4 nights in August; our first holiday break post lockdown. From the website we thought we had landed on a real gem of a holiday destination; it was expensive but looked fabulous! The reality left all the adults a little disappointed with the quality of the accommodation. We had a lovely holiday because the weather was great as is the location in North Devon but we did expect a better standard of accommodation for the high price. Stayed for 3 nights in one of their woodland glamping cabins which was beautifully furnished and perfect for a get away from it all break. Definitely recommended.
One point to note - parking is some distance from the cabins and access is along unpaved tracks that are steep in places so not ideal if you have mobility problems.
